I love this beautiful vest! One of our customers knitted it out of Baa Ram Ewe's Donegal Twists DK yarn, in the Balor colorway. Beautiful texturing, and I love how the little pips of tweed colors add so much to the fabric.

Coming soon to our online shop: an all-in-one kit to make a buttery soft Merino wool cowl, using nalbinding!

Here's a sneak peek at a new product debuting at Lambtown: nalbinding taster kits! They'll be an affordable, easy way to try out the craft without buying supplies you might not need later.

A small fabric pouch with a paper label tied to it describing what's in the kit. Two one-armspan lengths of yarn, one metal tapestry needle, and a card with a link to directions to try nalbinding with the included supplies.

I've made a knitted shawl and a granny square to really show off how soft this yarn is, and how vibrant the colors are. Fishermen's Wool is also popular, and we still have a little bit of our Jaggerspun left.

I've made a small update to the Loopship design: a hole for a jump ring. This allows you to clip it onto a chatelaine or lanyard if you want, and allows me to string it on a cord to add to nalbinding starter kits!

I made ramen! Well, actually, it's a bobbin of Cheviot handspun, 2-ply. I think this is the crinkliest yarn I've ever made yet. It was a lot better after wet finishing, though still slightly twisty.

I'm getting a lot better at lazy joints with nalbinding - swatches for the shop are the perfect way to practice! I think if I ever make my own socks, I'm going to do them this way even though it takes longer than knitting. Yarn is Celestial Wool and Fibers Starry Sock in the Chestnut Roan colorway.

Just finished a 21-year crocheted temperature blanket. Each strip is one year. Each 6-stitch row in each strip is one day. Colors are max temperature for each day. We lived in 4 different US states. This commemorates our married years so far. 🧶

The granny square sample, all completed! I really enjoyed working on this - the color changes are soooo much of a "just one more row" sort of thing. The goal is to have this in our pop-ups so that you know how much fabric one cake will get you, and how the color changes look when worked up.

Nalbound swatch is done for Celestial Wool & Fibers' Whimsical Worsted in Rhiannon! While superwash wool yarn isn't the usual go-to for nalbinding, this helped me learn which types of joins work well for fiber that can't be spliced by felting.
