hi. Most of my pictures on my account are analog ones. Most of the time i use the Pentax 6x7. This pucture was taken with an adapted projector lens (ISCO 120mm f2). Film was Ilford FP4 at box Speed. Developed in HC-110 at 1+47 dilution. I hope this helps 😇

The Language of Lines with www.instagram.com/iam.blum at a workshop by @stojanov.bsky.social

The photograph presents a striking portrait of a woman in a studio setting, rendered entirely in black and white.
The overall impression is one of dramatic artistry and unusual beauty. The woman is nude, her body extensively covered in intricate, swirling tattoos that resemble an elaborate tribal or ornamental design. The patterns flow seamlessly over her skin, creating an almost unified appearance where the body itself seems to be a canvas for the artwork.
Her posture is confident and slightly defiant. She stands with her hands gently clasped in front of her, a subtle gesture that draws attention to her torso and the complexity of the tattoo designs. Her head is tilted slightly upward, with a direct, unblinking gaze towards the viewer. Her hair, dark and textured, falls loosely around her face, partially obscuring her eyes and adding a touch of mystery to her expression.
The lighting is theatrical, casting deep shadows that accentuate the contours of her body and highlight the detail of the tattoos. The background is a textured, dark gray, intentionally blurred to keep the focus entirely on the woman and the artistry of the tattoos. The photograph has a high-contrast aesthetic, with a full range of tonal values adding to the intensity and allure of the portrait.

Floral Symmetry with www.instagram.com/iam.blum at a workshop in Berlin (with @stojanov.bsky.social) #analog #6x7 #fineart

The photograph presents a striking, close-up view of a person's chest and torso. The composition focuses on the front of the body, revealing a vast expanse covered in intricate and detailed tattoos. The design incorporates a complex blend of floral and geometric patterns, showcasing a unified and continuous artwork across the body.

The skin itself appears smooth and taut, serving as a canvas for the meticulously applied ink. The tattoos are dense and intricate, demonstrating a significant commitment to the body modification.

The person's hands are clasped gently in front, highlighting the rings adorning their fingers. The fingers themselves are prominently featured, revealing the detail of their texture and the placement of the jewelry. The lighting is carefully controlled, creating subtle shadows and highlights that accentuate the contours of the body
and the depth of the tattoo designs. The backdrop is dark, ensuring the focus remains entirely on the artwork and the individual's form. The overall impression is one of artistic intention and a deliberate focus on the body as a medium for art.

Mermaid #35mm #analog #hp5

$The water hangs heavy and still, muffling the world outside. Visibility is limited, creating a sense of dreamlike suspension. A figure, a woman, floats within this aquatic embrace, her body gently curved in a posture of quiet release. The light, filtering from above, dances in fractured beams, shimmering and distorting her form. These beams highlight the smooth contours of her shoulders and back, giving them a momentary brightness before the surrounding gloom swallows them again. Her hair, a dark, flowing mass, drifts around her head and shoulders like a living veil, further blurring the edges of her presence. It pulsates gently with the subtle currents, creating wispy trails that dissipate into the murky depths. Small, almost invisible bubbles cling to her skin, fleeting and ephemeral. The water itself is not perfectly clear; fine particulate matter hangs suspended, creating a milky quality to the environment. This obscures the details of her legs and lower body, hinting at their form rather than revealing them completely. The interplay of light and shadow creates an ethereal quality, a sense of being suspended between worlds – between the tangible and the dreamlike. There's a feeling of tranquility and weightlessness, as if she's effortlessly floating, held by the water's gentle grip, a silent, graceful presence in this submerged realm. The image evokes a feeling of seclusion and introspection, lost in the quiet solitude of the underwater world.$
