After the king’s funeral today, they’re ringing all the church bells in Oslo for an entire hour. I happened to be in the Oslo sentrum (downtown) at the moment. It’s quite interesting hearing the church bells just going on nonstop.

I did some digging and found this area with a red line around it is owned by a logging company. 😭 They’ve only cut down trees in the blue circle, but the equipment is still there, so they’ll probably cut more. My house is where the blue X is.

There’s been quite a bit of logging happening all around the area I live in Norway, and I had been worried they might cut the trees on the main road above my street. I didn’t expect them to be logging RIGHT ON our private road. Drove up yesterday to see this mess. MAD and SAD.

Some little guys in my garden here in Norway. Look at the orange extension cord for size comparison. This frog is quite tiny. I’ve also seen a bigger frog that was about 5 inches long.

Yesterday, I bought a beautiful Persian runner rug for my entryway. The seller described it online as 220x90cm, but he clearly just guessed at the size and didn’t measure it. It’s actually 295x113cm, which won’t fit in my entry. Fortunately, it’ll fit in the upstairs hallway.
