Awwww the IDE controller in my Inspiron 8100 died :((( It has a 25 year old battery that's still in really good shape and a 1600×1200 screen. I will miss this little (er actually big) buddy though it won't get recycled yet 'cause I might try repair it one day.

Spoke with someone on the phone who was playing music in the background which wasn't above the noise gate threshold but the sound of them typing was. The result was a short bit of music every time they pushed a key. It sounded kinda cool.
