Buster is feeling better than he looks 😅 His foot is on the mend, doing nicely, and we havent had to stop him from jumping on anything over the past day or so. Except one time when he wanted to cuddle with me on the couch 😭

The thought did occur if, that was a bone sticking out, the possibility of putting him down was on the table. I'm glad it didn't come to that...but I can't say it didn't hurt thinking about it. I could barely see while driving because of how hard I was crying.

He's home now, and ..very stoned with the heavy duty meds they gave him. Plus, a little nip to keep him from walking around a bit. Last time I saw him like this was when he tried catnip for the very first time in his life 😅😭

However, he does have a displacement fracture in his foot, hence the blood you see. We're not sure how that happened: he's an indoor/outdoor cat, so: who knows? 🤷🏾‍♂️

Back from the veterinarian, his foot is shaved but there is still a little bit of blood from a puncture on his foot. The vet said his other metatarsals will act as his splint.

Well, I did not have to make that hard decision after all, but it felt like it was close. Buster somehow injured himself on his foot, and when we took a look at it, it looked like a bone was protruding from his foot. Scared the life out of us 😢 Turns out it was just hardened hair 😮‍💨
