i had set up a dhcp exception for the wrong device so my nas was forcing itself to have 192.168.1.111 and the router was forcing my tv to also have 192.168.1.111 somehow everything "worked" but the tv was unbearably slow and was having packet loss symptoms. i'm shocked it worked at all lol
