In Iceland for my first touristy vacation in a long while. Took me an entire day to actually arrive and switch to vacation mode. Resting heart rate already dropped by like 10 points. I know Switzerland is already a beauty; but I think Iceland is on par.

Sending articles to my Kindle is the most used feature. I basically send all articles to read offline while on the train or tram. Here's a section I loved from "18 Life-Learnings from 18 Years of The Marginalian" (www.themarginalian.org/2024/10/22/m...)

And last but not least is the core feature of their product: events. Somebody forgot to remove a boolean check I guess, as a `0` is displayed in the list. Why do I ever want to generate an event with AI? (In our example it suggested a meetup where we talk about React and Vue)

Next, the entire navigation of a group is ridiculous. Everytime I open this dropdown I get confused. Some links are related to me; eg. managing my relationship with the group. Some links are upsells and point to a feature landingpage. Some links point to pages that are just more navigation links. 🤷

meetup[.]com must be one of the worst products I've used in a long while. This is the "invoice" we received after extending our subscription. - discount is all wrong (3000 USD off?!) - conversion to CHF is wrong (Sure this might be a taxamo issue, but still. 🙄)

📦 Working on a new little package: two-factor-sudo-mode Protect some of your routes with a "challenge" view, where users have to enter their two-factor code. (Similar to the existing RequirePassword-middleware in Laravel) Once entered the "confirmation" is stored for a certain time period.

Haha. I was already using 1-3. Switched the font to "Iosevka Term" using `/slackfont <font>`. Let's see how long this lasts.

Aww. I did something similar last year. My mom nitted (?) this advent calendar when I was a child. Every odd year I know fill it with small little presents (Sundays are filled with bigger presents/coupons) and give it back to my parents.

I've selected JIS for my Apple Magic Keyboard at the office but honestly didn't run into any issues so far. Switchting to ANSI or ISO doesn't seem to make a difference to my modifications.
