There needs to be at seed swaps a section where left handed and right handed gardeners can get together to swap spare gloves. I've a bag full of left handed ones that are great but only a few right handed ones and they are now fingerless at best #Gardening

US needs to be removed from NATO as it's tainting it's purpose and hiding behind the alliance so that it can do things like invade Venezuela and possibly Greenland. It's obvious that this is all about resources and not about protecting innocent people from scrupulous regimes.

Council Garden waste collections, do they actully have any gardeners giving them advice? Most of the waste I generate is over the winter period, leaf picking, clearing areas, tree pruning etc. Yet this is when they stop collections. #Gardening

UK gardeners, it's October and so much stuff is still going strong. I've got autumn/spring plants and bulbs to put in pots and baskets but so many of them still look to good to empty. Also I'm still having to water lots as the ground is still bone dry. Anyone else finding the same? #Gardening

#Gardening Useful tip, use nail polish. Daughter painted my nails last weekend with a clear coat of something. At the end of the day my nails have never been easier to clean, it's a game changer. Nail polish for Gardeners FTW

It's stupid that renewal of driving licence is free for over 70, but if you have to surrender for medical conditions or have never driven (or have stopped driving but would like to keep the licence as ID) the only other form of official ID available in the UK is a passport that costs ~£100 to renew

Little things I see as a gardener. 1. Pot feet. Get them, they help to stop the drainage holes blocking and stop ants moving in. 2. Black items: Planters get too hot Stonework needs constant cleaning. Composite decking, the thermal expansion is too much it just keeps popping fixings. #garden

It's been a week now of daily visits to see Daddio in hospital. He's been 90% diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis, improving vastly on his initial day but only just getting some movement back in his limbs, breathing is improving too, swallowing is still an issue so on a feed tube. He gets tired very
