From 27 August to 27 September, the ‘Eine bunte Kunstgalerie’, founded by Stefan Zinkgraf, will be taking place in Hamburg’s St. Georg district. Lots of shops and artists are taking part, and I’m lucky enough to be exhibiting some of my work at the Triboli ice cream parlour. 🤗

This work, “Kreislaufwetter,” is my contribution to this year’s “Kill Dill” group show at nachladen/Sternstunden des Kapitalismus. The opening of “Licensed to Dill” is on August 1, and the exhibition runs through August 29. So come on out in droves and check out all the fantastic cucumber art! 🥒😊

I painted this new work for „Kaiser's Delight, and it is on display at MEGA Contemporary, Kaiser-Wilhelm Straße 87. It is called “Lichtstreif” (Streak of Light), and perhaps it expresses a little of what we hope for: the light that pushes through the darkness and promises a new beginning. #art

Ausgebootet“, „Boot am Ufer“ oder „Am Sonntag wollen wir segeln gehen“ (boat on shore or on Sunday we want to go sailing). I’m not sure yet what title to give this painting. 😅 What is certain is that this view over the hill gives the impression that the boat and cars are floating on the meadow. #art

In my neighbourhood, there is a camper van on almost every corner. Some seem to have grown into the wayside, others appear to be always ready for action. Now it's the holidays and the parking spaces show that wanderlust has been awakened and that mobile homes are answering the call of the road. #art

„Brückentag“ (Bridge Day) is an older work. I still like this work somehow. It reminds me of a long, clarifying walk. In addition, the painting fits in with the previous bridge picture and is thus perhaps a bridge to new works. 😃 #landscapepainting #acryliconcanvas

They say Hamburg has more bridges than Venice. I don't know if that's true, but sometimes the light under a bridge seems so Mediterranean that you wouldn't be surprised to see a gondola passing by.
