Interesting deal on the table. Not complete as Europe is not onboard and a reintegration of Europe and Russia is crucial for normalization. Still. A partial plan is progress. Don’t say no, say yes… to a process that will bring the majority of European countries to agree. www.vg.no/nyheter/i/V6...

Interesting election going on in Norway. The social democrat block gained support of the green party to keep the populist Frp party away from power. The second biggest party of the block is the communist party. There is no education on communism in Norway, only on nazism. www.vg.no/nyheter/i/B0...

Crazy Norwegian tax problem. Foreign owners pay less tax and Norwegian owners are forced to move abroad to compete in the very long run. If stopped with exit tax, foreigners abroad slowly takes over. Rich people should pay tax, but the system must be … not idiotic like now. e24.no/norsk-oekono...

Very interesting research about right wing populist supporters and climate. Not letting them into political coalitions might feed them. The resistance runs deeper: www.forskning.no/klima-miljo-...

Hvorfor er høyrepopulistene så imot klimapolitikk?

Det handler ikke nødvendigvis om å være skeptisk til vitenskapen, men om nasjonalisme, ifølge forsker.

So what will Trump do now? Media is stuck on Epstein and he is tired of Putin not giving him any progress. Everybody is tired of his tariff threats and the Kremlin officially don’t believe they will go through and that it doesn’t matter if they do. I think they are powerful. Trump likes drama.

Very interesting with the new tariffs. Former general secretary of Nato studied economics at the same place as I did and I remember tarrifs was important to make the great depression (again?). Never boring with Trump. Now he put some preassure on Russia as well. e24.no/internasjona...

So far Trumps untraditional peace initiative is unfortunately looking less and less promising. He gets zero compromise from Russia, puts preassure on Ukraine and almost all political leaders in European democracies publicly disagree. No peace keeping forces and no trade is an unlikely lasting peace.
