Yeah, my assumption is that RFuckingK, Jr. has investments that he seeks to boost, which means that he also seeks to disparage others. There is a precedent for that with him and obviously his boss as well.

I just want to know what are they intending to (further) protect from scrutiny?

Oh, forgot about the encounter with the bison on Catalina Island, CA. Thankfully a pickup truck came by and sheilded us while we rode away from a pack of 10 or so.

Not a commute but encountered 1) 4 bulls on a high-speed descent in Italy. Came out nowhere. Narrowly missed two of them. 2) Two full-grown deer crossing MTB trail in woods at full gallop. Again, no time to react and narrow miss. 3) Multiple snake encounters MTBing out here. Fortunately no rattlers.
