I am curious, my fellow BSKY users: What is on your mind at the very moment you're reading this post? I'm curious what's running through the minds of those who visit my little hole-in-the-wall here!

Man, how do you artist types DO it?! Here I was, struggling on stream last night just coloring in the lines in a child's coloring book XD How the actual cuss do you imagine something cool in your head and then just DRAW it into existence?! Like with just your own digits! That's just WILD to me!

"Who ya gonna call?" A squad of SpectreCatchers(TM) will be establishing a perimeter around the FurSquared hotel in Milwaukee in response to increased levels of paranormal activity! A representative will be making an announcement during Opening Ceremonies, but I'm sure they could use some help!

@mauzymice.bsky.social I think I got art from you a few years back! I've been trying to track you down for a while now to let you know that I still use it all the time, that it's super adorable and that I'd like to get more from you, if you ever have an opening!

Finally, the holiday rush is at it's end! Don't get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE the Winter holidays, but I had SO many projects going all at once x.x Glad they're almost all done, now! Hoooo boy! Now I can kick back, and watch a pile of cheesy kids Christmas movies and enjoy a pile of my cookies!

Just learned that MatPat is retiring as host for all of his channels... Damn... I'm a little surprised with how sad this makes me. I never realized just how much his work has become a part of my life, and I'm going to dearly miss it... I also wish him the best in his future endeavors! Good luck!

Stuck at the vet again, and I'm imagining making another small RPG just because that's where my mind likes to wander. Suddenly, Golden Axe and it's phenomenal soundtrack pops into mind, and now I really wanna start emulating Sega Genesis games again... Along with Pokémon Pinball. My brain is weird!

Just got home a weekend of LARPing at the Chicago chapter of Alliance! Man, that sure was invigorating! It's the only chance I get nowadays to PC, and it was soooo fun! What do my fellow TTRPG nerds feel about LARPing? I'd love to hear your thoughts!

And yet, when presented with the notion that instead of a d20 roll, a 3d6 diceroll gives you far more reliability and chances of success in the middle-of-the-road rolls (which means success if it's where you specialize) players recoil and screech like I've offended them! Funny, how players be! 2/2

Sitting in the vet's office, pondering player psychology. I find it so interesting that most players I run for prefer to have strong builds that help ensure their success in their chosen fields, ensuring a high rate of success! Of course, you want to perform well and fail as little as possible! 1/2

So... As a personal challenge for a local Brony con I help run (Ponyville Ciderfest) I just spent 24 hours designing my first official 1-Page RPG! It's even got REALLY nice art done by Alsey! Lemme know if y'all are interested! It's technically my first finished/published RPG! Funny how life works!

Man, this has been such a busy month! I have barely had any time to get any game work done, or burn through my list of Samhain movies I enjoy watching each year! I -did- just write up a tiny one page RPG for Ponyville Ciderfest that I'll likely slap onto Itch.io. Lemme know if y'all are interested

I'd love to know what sort of player base I'm talking to here! Which edition of DnD do y'all prefer? The original? OSR? 3/3.5? *shudder* 4th? 5e? Or, if you prefer some other medieval fantasy system, lemme know in the replies!

At work, and I can't help but ponder just how much the "tropes" of modern media have shaped the expectations of my players. Some tried to screw an NPC out of their fair share of loot for a heist "Because it's an 'expected' trope, and I therefore shouldn't suffer any consequences for it" Really...?
