Been kinda depressed recently, so I haven't drawn in a couple of weeks. I know that's not what you're supposed to when you're trying to improve at art, but my depression gets pretty sever😅. Anyways, I picked it back up today, and finished this! He's Raffe Marr, my current DnD Character!

I'm actually about to be caught up on my back catalog! This was my first attempt at a few things, particularly, first time drawing a ZZZ character, drawing more intricate designs, and it was my first time using layers to try to shade my drawing! #amateurart #ZZZFanart #NicoleDemara #artjourney

This one is simply: "Squirtle Eating a Suica"

Knuckles was always my favorite Sonic characters, and I'm so glad that this drawing came out as good as it did!

This was one of the first drawings I was really proud of. I still took the construction layer from a preexisting pose, but the design for her and the background was all me and made me feel like an artist for once. This is the Fire Mage.

This was my second official digital art piece I drew. For this one, the last, and the next one, I took a pose reference and used it as the bottom layer to make a skeletal structure, but after the next one, I weened off of that and started just eyeing references from my phone. As I drew😅

This year, after a whole year of not drawing anything due to finishing school and dealing with heavy depression and anxiety, I decided to try digital art. I had a tablet I had bought years ago to try it then, but it was hard, so I stuck to pencil and paper until recently.

This was the first sketch I did after coming home from my semester abroad, the last sketch I would do before taking another hiatus, and the last sketch I did before I started trying digital art! I want to go back to sketching again, and I probably will someday.

Before I post more art, I wanted to post a dump of some pics from my time in Japan. Studying abroad was the best experience I ever had, and I miss that time dearly. So, this is a post just remember those times and to tell y'all to enjoy life♥️

Unfortunately, we come to the end of my drawings in Japan (at least the ones worth posting, lol). I was pretty proud of this one because I knew I attempted this one drawing at least 2 times before I got this. I hope y'all like it!

This was where I started to really try and nail down the anime girl style and figure out how my style would look with it. Plus, it was more practice for drawing some anatomy, something I still struggle with today, lol. This was about halfway or close to the end of my drawings I did while in Japan?🇯🇵

This was one of the one drawings I was very proud of. Sonic 3 was coming out, and despite being in Japan at the time, I wanted to go see it in theaters so bad. I never did get the chance, but I did see it when I got home. 🦔🔵⚫

Here are some more drawings I did while in Japan. I don't know what specifically led me to start drawing again, but I know my interest in anime was part of that driving factor. These are my sketches I did of Rias and Akeno, my first attempt at anime women.❤️🖤

So, I'm a little late making this Bluesky page. I've been getting back into art since late 2024 while I was studying abroad in Japan! I'm gonna start by posting drawings I did then, little by little! This is the first batch: God Goku, Nakino Nino, and Orange Piccolo!
