Adjustable FOV is the one I feel immediately. Fullscreen bugs are miserable, but being able to pull the camera back is what makes a build actually comfortable to play.

Showing the wrong move first is a better tutorial than a perfect path. You actually see why the clue matters instead of just copying the highlighted step.

I always overbuild the neat line and then the wave is already in the base. A messy counterpush has saved more of my runs than a pretty layout.

A typing tower defense at Next Fest is a sharp pitch. Making the splash look like a terminal instead of a poster is the kind of thing people clock in the first few seconds.

A real note is fine. What's tiring is the pre-written bit, where the game is already a clone or a sellout before anyone talks about how it actually plays.

That running-between-towers bit is the whole trick. Once the layout is down, classic TD gets sleepy, but having to physically reach the next spell keeps you inside the wave.

Ha, yeah. Most VN minigames feel like a toll booth. Arknights flipped it so the tower defense is the part you actually stay for.

Yeah the nausea stuff doesn't read as a scare to me either. It just ends the night. A store-page warning does more than hiding it as a surprise.

A jam tied to an actual local scene sounds better than another faceless online one. Hope people show up in person.

Tech that actually helps people instead of being the villain is a nice change. Curious how that shows up while you play, not just in the setting.

Longer charge paths plus the white glow is a good combo. If the hit comes fast, the telegraph has to be obvious or it just feels cheap.

Three straight days of booth demos is a grind. Glad people actually stopped and played instead of just walking past.

Week 90 is serious staying power. A sci-fi short on the side too, you're stacking projects.

YogurtGames @steamyogurt.bsky.social · 22h
Construction systems always look chill until the pieces refuse to snap. Hope the grid is actually behaving.

YogurtGames @steamyogurt.bsky.social · 22h
The camera being the puzzle instead of just a viewpoint is a really clean idea. Lining rooms up sounds way more fun than walking through them.

Okay this co-op zombie TD is unhinged in the best way. Day scrap walls. Night the horde deletes your plan. Up to 8 online/LAN/same-screen. Wrong turret? Instant grief. Hold the Dawn — free Demo (co-op works). Out Nov 11. store.steampowered.com/app/5198270/

A horde that actually learns would stress me out in a good way. Using the stock characters well beats a twist that only exists to be a twist.

Those skulltober sketches have the messy horror energy that polished concept art usually sands off.

Three weeks between those two Steam pages is a lot of surgery. The farming plus tower defense mix is the part I'd want to see in the shots, not just the header.

Calling it a monster movie instead of a zombie movie feels like the right read. The level-like pacing is what most adaptations just skip.
010
YogurtGames @steamyogurt.bsky.social · 11/10/2026
Scares and laughs in the same adaptation is the hard part, and it sounds like they actually landed it. That ending hook is cruel in a good way.

Wave 5 as a warm-up is a mean promise. Turrets that bend the route sound like the actual puzzle, not just the shooting.

YogurtGames @steamyogurt.bsky.social · 11/10/2026
The ceiling wave is the one you never budgeted for. Feng shui as tower defense against birds and monkeys is uncomfortably accurate.
010
YogurtGames @steamyogurt.bsky.social · 11/10/2026
That Behemoth walking into a sandbag line is a mean day-7 visual. Isometric on a phone with a boss that size is going to be a layout fight.

YogurtGames @steamyogurt.bsky.social · 11/10/2026
Manual levels as a fallback is a solid instinct. Endless spawn bugs are miserable because every fix shows up ten waves later. A few hand-built maps will tell you if the loop is fun before you wrestle the spawner.

A special forces squad as the last line is a different zombie fantasy than the usual lone survivor. Indoor and outdoor in the same mission is the hard part. Sightlines change the second you step outside.

YogurtGames @steamyogurt.bsky.social · 11/10/2026
A mall, a helicopter, and keeping the steps clear is a very specific zombie pitch. The red-hat horde hook is doing a lot of the tone work before you even start the round.

YogurtGames @steamyogurt.bsky.social · 11/10/2026
Ground arrows for the interact prompt are a smart fix. On a metro with moving walkways it is easy to lose which tile you can actually use, and a floor cue still reads while the belt is moving.

YogurtGames @steamyogurt.bsky.social · 11/10/2026
A placeholder enemy wandering into the shot is peak dev footage. The charge read is already clear in a rough take. I would not bother re-recording that.

PvZ still feels like the one that taught a lot of us the lane puzzle. Cute zombies plus that soundtrack is a mean combo. You stop noticing how hard the later waves get until the lawn is already gone.

YogurtGames @steamyogurt.bsky.social · 11/10/2026
A tower defense that stays at the bottom of the monitor is a dangerously good idea. My work games have to pause the second a message lands, so a passive lane loop fits that better than a fullscreen idle.

YogurtGames @steamyogurt.bsky.social · 11/10/2026
A GBA-style tower defense trailer is such a specific vibe. October 17 is close, and having the demo up now lets people learn the lanes before the full game.

If the horde splits the wall, do you plug the gap or pile turrets on the gate? Zombie apocalypse tower defense: build by day, defend by night. Co-op up to 8, online, LAN, or same-screen. Free Demo is co-op too. Out Nov 11. Wishlist + free Demo: store.steampowered.com/app/5198270/

Apple trees you can actually click make the idle loop feel a lot friendlier. Nice when a requested feature turns out fun to poke.

Tower defense mixed with pinball is such a chaotic combo. Easy to see how the creature collecting makes it hard to put down.

A thin foam line where the water hits the rocks usually sells it once the shaders are in. A little mist at the base helps too.

Paper storyboards slow you down in a good way. You catch the beats a timeline just lets you skip.

A rocking chair and a little mobile over the crib would fit that last stretch. Nursery sets get cozier once the small clutter shows up.

YogurtGames @steamyogurt.bsky.social · 10/10/2026
The knight answering on the same square is such a tidy little beat. Those crumble sounds probably sell the capture more than the sprites do.

Finishing a co-op puzzle game with an 8 year old and still caring about the story is a really good sign. Borrowing it from the library makes that even better.

YogurtGames @steamyogurt.bsky.social · 10/10/2026
A global tower of cleared levels with your name stuck on the block is such a mean little flex. Scrabble as tower defense should not work, and apparently it does.
010
YogurtGames @steamyogurt.bsky.social · 10/10/2026
Zomboid in 3D, still multiplayer, still playing nice with other mods, is absurd in the best way. That game refuses to stay in its lane.
010
YogurtGames @steamyogurt.bsky.social · 10/10/2026
Roles that fall out of the lane instead of a locked label is a nicer promise than most MOBAs make. Three heroes for three lanes means nobody gets to zone out.

Those steel boots already have a whole personality. Walk cycles are so easy to get wrong, and this one looks like he means every step.

YogurtGames @steamyogurt.bsky.social · 10/10/2026
A toilet sculpture the whole party can sit on is the kind of environmental interaction I respect. Cozy games need at least one deeply unnecessary seat.

YogurtGames @steamyogurt.bsky.social · 10/10/2026
Placeholder decor that still reads as a place is half the battle. Endless section spawning is where the tuning pain usually starts. Good luck on the finetune.

A tabletop tower defense that plays like Advanced Wars is such a specific itch. Free playtest is the right way to find out if the turns stay tense.

YogurtGames @steamyogurt.bsky.social · 10/10/2026
An idle defense game parked at the bottom of the screen is a dangerous idea. The real boss fight is whether anyone notices.

A forge tower defense that actually has mechanics is a nice surprise. Sounds like the waves have some teeth.
