I really want to teach my eldest child game development asap and found these in a charity shop. Has anyone used Scratch Coding Cards, do you have other tips for how to get him interested in #gamedev or #coding in general?

We've already maxed the capacity in our current venue and are finding somewhere larger to host this festive gathering. TBA soon! Currently we have a number of UK-based Roblox Devs attending, from some top games, but also people from four different European countries coming to join the party!

Went to a friend's beautiful wedding in Sardinia and Cagliari is truly such a wonderful city to get lost in its historic streets. 🏛️🌿 #Sardinia #TravelPhotography

Just discovered this hack on Bluesky: You can attach a link to your post (even if it takes you over the character limit), then once the preview has loaded, delete the text of the link. The link preview stays attached, the URL is hidden from the body text and you're back under the limit.

Sad to see WASD go into liquidation as I know how passionate that team was for spotlighting indie games, and not just AAA. Excited to see how the @londongamesfest.bsky.social expo does when tied in with all the events they've been running over the years. The UK needs a strong indie games scene.

Testing game icons on #Roblox just got easier! The personalised thumbnails feature compares multiple designs automatically using a multi-arm bandit approach—no more hours spent guessing what works. Optimise faster, attract more players & create more work for 2D artists! youtu.be/I65eJ_uUsY8?si=…

Looking for an efficient Roblox Dev to help optimize and complete a simulator game over the next few weeks! The game is nearly finished and mainly needs tweaks for retention and monetization. Offering a percentage share. DM if interested in joining the @virtuirl.bsky.social team! #RobloxDev
