Agree, it's a wonderfully sustainable model IF your scouting/academy dev is regularly hitting. Don't have that confidence right now - maybe that's unfair given the prospects we're watching. But precious few young signings have hit in recent years. Bradley's player dev might be what was needed tho

Thanks for covering this, Charles. It is a noticeably better brand of soccer to watch - I no longer give friends I bring to games a disclaimer about the "ugliest soccer they'll ever have seen". It's just that the window to win appears to be so small with sales of Hall, Mehmeti, and Donkor surely not
