Finished up some shiny nylon shorts! These are made of PU coated glossy nylon and feature an attached puffy dragon tail! An elasticated waistband with belt loops provides additional support for the tail if needed. The shorts are lined with shiny taffeta nylon and feel very lightweight and slippery!

I retired all my AMX gear last year. The touchpanel didn't have any kind of web/kiosk browser, and the closed/gatekeeper attitude of the ecosystem just made the whole thing frustrating to maintain compared to Home Assistant.

The weather cooled down just enough last weekend that me and @volf.bsky.social could suit together at a local event. Still lost count of how many times we heard "you must be really in hot in there", but it was a fun day out! #fursuitfriday

Its #internationaldayoflatex - I don't wear it as much as I used to thesedays, but I always felt it gave me some massive body positivity. The look and feel is just really special, and brings back memories of wearing it at Pride events, where I made so many like-minded friends.

The Dragon Meet was great fun! So many Dragons aaaa! I then found the Spyromobile (📷 @kemonologue.bsky.social), caught a Vengabus conga line, and now I need a shower and food after about 5 hours as Dragon in this heat! (Any vids of that conga line about, let me know!)

Had a few days off work before ConFuzzled, so I challenged myself to make a pair of feetpaws with dedicated time available (rather than the odd evening/weekends to work on them). They took 10 hours in total, and I love how they turned out. I used taffeta nylon for the pawpads - they are so smooth!

Ten years ago, @volf.bsky.social designed a dragon character named Fi. He became my first fursuit building project, which I completed just in time for ConFuzzled 2016. It was so much fun to unveil him; I am proud of what me and Volf achieved, and I'm happy it encouraged me to continue making suits.
