Nipped out at lunch to grab weekend supplies. Perfect reading weather this weekend (pissing down & cold). Had a little chuckle to myself. Once weekend supplies would have been a bag of weed and munchies. Now it’s a bag of tea and munchies.

Can’t get over how good The Crew Motorfest looks on the Switch 2. The screenshots don’t do it justice. Ripper music tracks while driving around Hawaii. The vibes bro.

I like the I can have text go right to the edge of the screen on the Kobo. That always bugged me on the kindle. And being able to weight fonts to my liking.

Oooh nice. Might install the beta tonight! Does it have a new interface? I dig the larger book cover view of these fake promo GUI mockups on the kindle… would also make a cool lock screen?

I’d accept a signed bookmark or signed copy? :D

Okay, straight away can tell this is designed by people that use it. Texture back for grip and not sweaty smooth plastic. Bezel on the side for holding, slightly curved for grip, turn button where your thumb rests. Rounded edge for your palm. Light as a feather. Dude this is awesome.

Anyway, my Kobo Libra Color arrived! Love the packaging! Making it look like a book was a great idea. Might actually store it in my bookshelf!

The new book cover interface of the new kindles look nice, hope Kobo do something the same, uncluttered. But why have the big bezel at the bottom not the side? Still no turn buttons.

Not the worst effort. Aussie beef, New Zealand cheese, glass of spice rum.

It’s impossible for me to pick my 9 fav or influential games. I’ve been gaming on PCs since I was a child. I’ve been able to make a list this small. Anyone else’s favs on there? Closest Nintendo games would have been Phanton Hourglass or any of the Professor Layton.

Anyone looking for good grips for their switch 2, recommend these from Amazon. Slip on over the cons so keeps the console thin and dockable. Also the grips are a nice grippy rubber, & rounds off the palm edges amzn.asia/d/02TZ93uD

I feel like the iPhone Air should have been what the Duo is on its single screen. A thin, squat iPhone for typing, reading.

Yeah it’s good they did, but I noticed the other day Amazon have him front and centre…
