Finally finished the design for the god of the fowldyr! This celestial entity was the first fowldyr to exist and is responsible for bringing the species to the realm of Tyrth. The Artisan’s soul resides in an enormous pale tree called the Whorl of Tyrth that sprawls across the planet.

A reference sheet depicting the god of the fowldyr - the Artisan. The creature is pale with a long serpentine body and great branching antlers. The Artisan has three pale eyes with star shaped pupils and a mane of twisting hair. Several braids in the Artisan’s mane have been capped with golden hands that the celestial entity can articulate at will. An illustration of a unicorn laying down on a lush hill covered in leafy plants and small white flowers. The unicorn’s pelt is half fluffy white fur and half golden scales. Her mane billows forward in the breeze, framing the rapier that is embedded in her head which functions as her horn. Beyond the hill, a ruined archway stands in a flooded meadow. A giant crescent moon shaped rock formation towers over the scene while a castle and two moons linger in the distance.

The moss-covered skeleton of an ancient unicorn stands motionless with a moth resting on it's skull. The creature appears to be able to see through the eyespots on the moths wings.

A snake-like deer with four wings and a unicorn horn inhabits the headless skeleton of a horse.

I got to fulfill a lifelong goal of visiting the Royal Tyrrell Museum in Drumheller! It was amazing to finally see so many amazing fossils in person! I was especially excited to see Borealopelta (second photo) - it's one of the best-preserved dinosaur fossils of its size ever found!

I have been developing my own fantasy world that my fowldyr species live in. They are peryton-like creatures that are born when an object absorbs enough energy. That object then becomes their vessel which houses their soul. You can learn more about them on the website I created! www.fowldyr.com

A painting of the fantasy land of Tyrth where the mythical deer species known as the fowldyr live. This painting features a moon gate with carved runes circling the stacked stones. On one side of the moon gate we see green mountains and strange rock formations that arc across the blue sky. Within the moon gate we see a portal to another region - the tall grass is shades of bronze and gold, and strange obelisks cut through the soft yellow sky.

The painting shows green mountains fading off into the distance, and in the foreground is a strange shrine of blue and green stained glass built into the exposed white roots of a giant tree. A stone pathway under arches of bent white trees leads to the doorway.

Apparently I'm just really weak for characters bathed in red light that look like they're going to kill me.

Today is my birthday!! Would you like to celebrate with me by sharing my art? 💚

Danny & Ross commissioned this scene depicting a tender moment between their dragons - a pothos inspired dragon and a beetle inspired dragon. The larger dragon gently caresses her lady in waiting, putting weight on the leaf to draw her closer.

A commission for bardybirdy featuring the OC Errai. A drawing of a dragon posed against a starry blue night sky. The dragon is mostly dark shades of blue and purple with golden accents. She has large feathered wings and a curved crystal horn. Her neck curls around a comet, her golden claws gently caressing the comet's tail. The radiant light of the comet casts serpentine rays that mimic the stylized flow of her mane.

A digital drawing of a pink deer in a stylized forest scene. The grass is glowing shades of yellow, orange, and soft reds. The bushes in the distance are blue, and the night sky is speckled with stars. A pink fawn looks curiously at a glowing star that has fallen from the sky.

In the 20+ years I've had Crohn's Disease, 2025 was easily the most difficult year this illness has ever put me through. I'm really proud that I managed to get an artwork done every month this year despite struggling so much with my health. Lets hope 2026 is kinder and gentler to us all. 💚

A graphic showing a different artwork by the artist Stasanie for each month of the year in 2025. Each artwork is overall very colourful and usually depicts a fantasy character or creature in a bright fantasy setting. The artworks are generally teal or orange in colour, showing that Stasane had a huge preference for these colours this year.

My choices for 2025 Colour of the Year

Rin is an OC owned by me (Stasanie)
Rin is a Yinshin, a closed species created by Mathilde Périé

Rin is depicted here in her exalted form. She has a unicorn-like appearance with a thick dragon-like tail covered in golden scales. The front half of her body is dark maroon in colour, and the hind part of her body is pink. She has a light pink mane covered in hellebore flowers. She stands facing away from the viewer against a dark sunset sky. Creamy clouds billow up in the distance, and a pink willow hangs overhead. In the foreground are more of her affinity flowers - the hellebore.

There is a box with a colour swatch in it for a dark coral colour called "Bittersweet Memory"

This artwork was created for Nexus and features the OCs Perun (who belongs to nexus) and Fern (who belongs to me).
Perun and Fern are enoki, a closed species created by Helixel.

Two demon women sit kneeling in a forest clearing. They are surrounded by bushes full of blue roses. Perun, the blue one, holds a small bouquet of fresh roses she has picked - holding one to her nose to take in the aroma. Meanwhile Fern, the green one, braids Perun’s hair.

There is a box with a colour swatch in it for a dark teal colour called "Calm Viridian"

This artwork is for malleyricon.bsky.social and features his OC Osore the dragon.

A ghostly dragon serpentines its pale body through the walls of an abandoned church. It’s mane billows like spectral smoke, and it’s face is clad in a metal mask. In the background there is a stained glass window depicting a sword, and red wisps pour in through the broken panes, revealing a red sky outside.

There is a box with a colour swatch in it for a bright red called "Crimson Gaze"

But of all of the demons I've known None could compare to you

This is Stasanie’s OC Thorn the goat demon. An anthropomorphic goat sits on an ornate golden chair with blue upholstery. He has large black horns and black fur with white facial markings resembling a sable antelope. He is lounging in a relaxed position with crossed legs and a glass of red wine in one hand. He is wearing a silk blouse with a celestial themed coat slung over her shoulders and tied at the chest with a golden ribbon and 3 golden bells. Behind him is a stained glass window where golden light filters into the room. He is surrounded by candles lit by eerie blue flames. #Stasanie

Unicorns where the horn is a sword is one of my favourite concepts so I had to try that with my newest OC. 💙

A reference sheet depicting a Fowldyr
Fowldyr are a closed species created by Stasanie (me)

A character design featuring a unicorn with a rapier for a horn. The unicorn has a long flowing white mane and long ethereal feathering. Her torso, legs, and tail are covered in golden scales. In her human form, she is depicted as a woman with white hair wearing a dark blue dress with long dagged sleeves. Her legs are covered in the same golden scales as her unicorn form, and she has the same tail. Both forms have 3 small wings on each side of the head where the ears would normally be, and both forms have one golden eye and one white eye. #Fowldyr #Stasanie

Thank you so much Emil! Unfortunately I didn't carve the Litwick quite thin enough to really get a nice bright glow on the body but I still think it turned out okay. 🧡

Halloween is my favorite time of year, but my heart just wasn't in it this time. I didn't dress up or carve a pumpkin. Maybe next year I'll be feeling the spooky spirit? I hope I do. Anyways, here are some of my pumpkins from previous years - I hope you like them! 🧡
