Family encouraged me to start a GFM to help with my hand. I would love to be able to draw pain-free again, but even just getting to a point where it's manageable would be win. Any shares greatly appreciated www.gofundme.com/f/help-emi-w...

I don't think my knees would appreciate a half marathon, but time to add a few 10Ks to my list of goals next year at least.

Still no answers from the doctor, but I do have an underlying heart condition but it should not be severe. I wanted to eventually get back into shape and a healthier lifestyle and now I am being forced to. Thankfully I know it's possible. I have run several long distances races in the past.

I would suggest a fresh file if unlocking all the jobs weren't gated by story progress

Star✨ @starwindx9.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

My worry is the grind to be competitive. I've played hundreds of hours and haven't unlocked everything.

Random thought. Does anyone play Fantasy Life i and would be interested in bingo? With the open world and random boss spawns it could be very cool. Maybe that or if you can seed a treasure dungeon you could race that? I want more excuses to get back into the game.

Anyone else have the correct opinion that The Mirror is the best song from the Arcadion raid series? Like it's not even close.

Star✨ @starwindx9.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

If you do wanna get real hype and live that shonen life (I know I'm biased), you can check out Yuki Hayashi. If you ever wondered who made the music that swells up in pivotal scenes, there you go. My running playlist is almost all his stuff and feels real epic when you are pushing long runs.

Star✨ @starwindx9.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

Ok... They technically do anime/game osts but they did not start with that and even those albums slap.

Star✨ @starwindx9.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

They have a wide range of sounds across their albums but there is a ton of Japanese prog jazz to get into. They are a staple in my work music playlist because I can't only work to non lyrical music and I need something upbeat and I'm very lofi study beats.

Star✨ @starwindx9.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

If you dig Jazz and want non game stuff please listen to fox capture plan. Fantastic prog jazz and I promise they aren't trying to capture you.

Obvious answer, but 8-Bit Big Band is pretty good. I particularly like their Katamari cover.

I forgot to mention that I also got my debut as a host and runner for Fastest Furs this year which was another huge goal. I'm not done either, I will be back on the host mic for Fall Fest :3

Next year's goal is definitely going to my first event in person. I am not expecting to take part in a mainline event but I will happily volunteer.

Between hosting for Fatales and running in GDQueer this has been such an incredible year. I may have watched GDQ for over a decade now, but I never thought I would ever take part in their events.

Genuinely, you were a pleasure to host for and I'm always rooting for you. I used to travel full time for work. I got accustomed to it, but travel was still never pleasant. I'd rather avoid it if I can.

010

Star✨ @starwindx9.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

First, I love your runs and just your energy in general on air. Second, I totally understand not wanting to travel. Even when I was doing several cons a year I would only go to ones within a drive. I can't wait to see what you submit for sgdq!

It's funny because I heard most people say Leda's was the weakest. Either way, I think this is a game I won't feel bad about dropping if I do.

This is not a good sign because I haven't particularly enjoyed the writing in part one. I'm playing Cai's route and it feels like it's stretching super thin.
