iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

I held out for a really long time, but after most of the people I was following left snd it got overrun with AI and bots, I stopped going. A shame, because my favorite part was the community... now its very dead internet-y.

Needless to say, this is probably annoying to the other person and is the reason I don't often watch anime/movies with other people.)

🌌 Eclipse @starweaver.studio · 29/09/2026

(Also, despite me liking to talk and discuss things while watching a movie/TV series/anime, I can't pay attention to both and usually end up stopping the media to say a thing/hear what my conversation partner is saying.

I can listen to a stream while I draw! I can call into a meeting and crunch data entry stuff while I contribute. I can multitask okay, but I A) prefer not to, and B) the activities have to be complimentary. If I'm editing, or doing something with words, music is best for the BG.

This is (finally) a point AGAINST me having ADHD, btw. So many ADHDers I know prefer a lot of things happening all at once (like music, a stream, playing a video game, and talking to someone, simultaneously.) I am.......... not that guy lmafo.

my curse is I can't put Zeal's playthrough on in the background while I edit or work on anything that has words because I want to pay attention to what he's saying

All the covers for the books are DONE!!! (Minus the adjusting I'll have to do when I get the final measurement requirements for the spines.)

Honestly, normally it didn't matter, but apple devices are notorious for different looking colors from monitor to monitor. ESPECIALLY for print.

Color Adjustment is gonna be soooo important in this piece, but, unfortunately, I work off an ipad lmafo

Just now realizing I should have done the tests prints on one of the books that had footnotes, so I could see how their size compares IRL.... Oops.

Obviously, I have to have both sets in my hand to make an evaluation of quality and such, but right now, Printer 1 is winning, even if they were (just a little) more expensive.

000

🌌 Eclipse @starweaver.studio · 15/09/2026

I ordered the samples on the book last week, and one printer had them done and shipped just two days later. Tracking says I'm getting them on Thursday. The OTHER printer STILL has them as "in production," with no updates whatsoever. Keep in mind it's two books from each with similar specs.

I mean we can all agree like, one volume of manga takes about 15 minutes to read, right? 25 tops, if it has really pretty art or lots of dialogue, right?

🌌 Eclipse @starweaver.studio · 11/09/2026

This isn’t NECESSARILY Hoopla’s fault? Because they’re thinking of like, actual prose books. Meanwhile, I’m using it for exclusively manga, almost exclusively BL.

000

🌌 Eclipse @starweaver.studio · 11/09/2026

Hoopla only lets me check out 8 books a month, and I SHOULD be an adult and just do two a week throughout the month but… I am not, and simply pick out 8 on the first of the month and then spend the next week reading them.
