venus 🔞 @starvenus.net · 13hunfortunately thinking (mainly because it's the same writer on both) "damn. this was better than gquuuuuux, despite it being worse in other places" It's dumb, it's all dumb and I still like Tauburn a lot 010
venus 🔞 @starvenus.net · 13hbrief ramble since I was reminded of it Star Driver still fucks me up because it's such a fun mecha anime to watch It's also stupid in a lot of other respects But despite the obscene fanservice, the weird inexplicable lore dump on the mechs, and some of the later outfit designs, I still find myself 120

venus 🔞 @starvenus.net · 21/09/2026That said, I don't intend on sharing much until something cohesive *has* manifested. I'm kind of a stickler over presentation, and I've never been able to shake it off 030
venus 🔞 @starvenus.net · 21/09/2026As for translating all of this into a cohesive game, I'll definitely need a lot more time. Playing even more games since kind of locking down the core loop has made me want to shift gears but I have to resist it like it's the devil on my shoulders 020
venus 🔞 @starvenus.net · 21/09/2026It's so strange that generally, writing things was never my strong suit and I never really did it irt my stories (that I am required to write, no ands ifs or buts) but I've been hitting my stride as of late writing stuff for the first Intended story 180
venus 🔞 @starvenus.net · 15/09/2026discord's down, time to intently listen to the peak of human expression: aja 0112
venus 🔞 @starvenus.net · 10/09/2026i would ask if there *is* any interest for something like that, but also i do not like begging for that kind of input for the aforementioned reasons this just sucks and it's really hard to navigate this 020
venus 🔞 @starvenus.net · 10/09/2026this is just speaking into the void at this point but i'll just go ahead and express it: it would be nice if i could open something like a patreon and just draw whatever and whenever w/o any polls or rewards (because that's what led to me backing out of ko-fi in the first place) 190
venus 🔞 @starvenus.net · 10/09/2026i'm also gonna use this update to announce that comms will be closed indefinitely; i've burned myself out hard on trying to profit off of my work in that way and i need art to become a healthy outlet again, especially considering the circumstances i'm in 190
venus 🔞 @starvenus.net · 10/09/2026sorry for the critical lack of posts, i find that actually posting to social media sites isn't as fulfilling as it used to be; it doesn't help that i continue to be an unmedicated mess so i don't have anything meaningful i can post at the time of writing this 190
venus 🔞 @starvenus.net · 31/08/2026if you want to do a hackish way of easily doing that, just flatten the image as is, marquee (rectangular) select the area you wanna share, ctrl + c and you should be able to paste it just don't forget to undo the flattening 100
venus 🔞 @starvenus.net · 25/08/2026not to break the sanctity of the thread but i'm finally listening to beat from melty blood, i get it 110

venus 🔞 @starvenus.net · 12/08/2026something i just haven't shared publicly is that i'm a hobbyist audiophile, i fuck the music (not really but having the music sound smooth is soooo nice) 040
