#StartingOffWrite I start with the second sentence. Bear with me. I ignore all the first sentence jittering and I think, what would my "second sentence" aka the first thing that comes to mind be and I write that down. It's a weird trick but it works for me. I also plot ahead a LOT.

#StartingOffWrite I’m awful at coming up with comp titles 😅 Snake WIP is a low stakes high fantasy book with heavy setting inspiration from table top RPGs like Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder, and video games like The Witcher and Pillars of Eternity.

In 'The City of Light' (placeholder), a deadly illness has killed off most of the royal family, and a young princess - completely unprepared for the role - must step up to become the queen her people need in this time of crisis. Multiple POVs; this is only 1 facet of the story. 🤩
