Putting half the active user base on a massive block list then casually mentioning that your lead programmer no longer works for the company. That's the bluesky way

FA is the last, I repeat *The Last,* art site that actually supports NSFW artists. Even Newgrounds has been suppressing adult artists for some time now. If FA goes down, we're fucked. If there's anything everyone should go to bat for, it's fighting against the deletion of queer art.

We're on Bluesky, put the link in your post. Put the link in your post. Put. The. Link. In. Your. Post. Links in posts aren't buried or de-prioritized here. This is one of the last platforms you don't have to make interested users do detective work to find the link. Just put it in the post.

FA regardless of your personal feelings, is the core of the fandom and losing it would mean YEARS AND YEARS of art, messages, pages, and memorials for people that have passed, would be gone. We CANNOT allow ourselves to rely simply on sites like bsky, twitter, insta, etc. etc. to be our defaults.

A lot of people assume FA is profitable. If that were the case we wouldn't have needed a GFM when Neer passed to keep it out of probate. It's been two years. The funds were used. FA is struggling financially. And I am 🌟s t r e s s e d🌟 I'm scared to ask for help, I feel like no matter how much-

[Mario Kart Tour] 24 hours left until the game shuts down (Sep 30 at 6 am UTC) as of this post. Nintendo has no plans to release an offline version. Once the servers shut down, the game will no longer be playable (officially, at least).

This doesn’t have to do with the fact that Sega is constantly their own worst enemy when it comes to Sonic but I have very much noticed that whenever people go “Sonic should’ve died as a franchise”…it kinda does nothing but bolster the thought that a lot of Sonic fans REALLY hate being Sonic fans

tumblr text post by spiribia: I think it's fine if somebody describes a piece of media as life changing and earth shattering and bone shaking and it doesn't do much for you. I don't think the person who said that owes you an apology or anything. that's just the nature of people being different people
