One of the core goals of the fic is to convincingly show that Setsu and Yuri like each other as people, and the rough draft largely does not succeed at doing this. I think it needs more fluff? I've been blanking on concepts for fluff, though.

OK fluff time over The fic overall is Setsu POV, but I'm tempted to open with a Yuri POV chapter showing their first loop with the second Silver Key because the setup I have in mind is juicy. (We'll get the same scene from Setsu's POV later in the fic.)

I do think it would be interesting in its own right to explore Setsu's response to the events of the story after everything is over, but the scenario I'm most interested in for that is where the protagonist disappears. That's now how I want to end this fic.

So, is the thing keeping them from going back to Gliese the Gnosia infection aboard the DQO? Or do they only go back in that one world line because it's the best way to protect Remnan?

On the one hand, they advocate for the D.Q.O. to go to Gliese during the 0 Gnosia loop. On the other hand, they have problems with Gliese, what with the whole starting-a-revolution thing in the Normal Ending. The drama CDs show that those problems started before the events of the game.

The bitter-end-of-bittersweet ending beat the other ending that I was considering, but it split into three variations. One retains the full bitterness. The second is similar to draft 1's ending but with the character roles swapped around. The third is a compromise between the other two.
