I thought of a dumb joke this morning: The Japanese people consider green tea to be an es-sencha-l part of their culture

Bigotry genuinely baffles me I have no idea why so many people judge others over things they can't control Someone's race/ethnicity, gender, sexuality, etc should not factor into how you treat them as a person and it's really upsetting to me that it does a lot of the time

Good morning my big cat stayed on my bed with me for like an hour and a half which she never does!! (She's fine I'm just the only one home and there's no sun this morning)

I don't follow DIANNA PROJECT but I'm really sad about Hirata Luna... Why the fuck does an 8-year-old die but we can't get rid of the crusty billionaires ruining the planet? Reading the other renshuusei reacting to her death is heartbreaking. I'm so upset :(

1/3 - Nagoya-based DIANA PROJECT have posted that 8-year-old trainee idol, Runa Hirata, passed away on September 25 from myocarditis caused by influenza. Although the progress of her illness was not made public, she posted on September 20 that she had enjoyed participating in a performance that day.

I'm willing to bed it's a leftover side effect of the scoliosis I had when I was younger I have rods pretty all the way up my spine but not in my neck or the very top of my spine so I think it's just gotten weaker and weaker over the years and now something's fucked it up

This neck/shoulder pain is really annoying because I don't know what's triggering it and sometimes it comes out of absolutely nowhere I was just. Sitting in bed on my laptop as always and boom terrible headache and shoulder pain to the point that I had to lie down I'm okay now it's just annoying

Well my uncle died suddenly this morning A-At least it wasn't long and drawn out.... Feel bad for his kids though, two live internationally and one's on holiday overseas and they didn't even get the chance to see him one last time. They were told he was dying but nobody expected him to go THIS soon

I have never willingly watched a YouTube Short in my life and I intend to keep things that way

My uncle (on my mum's side) is dying :/. He's been terminally ill for a couple of years now and it's hardly a surprise but I know my mum's stressed about it... She's going to visit him and his wife this week but we've got no idea how much longer he's got -- probably only a few days to a week.

My big cat is still scared of my mum and is convinced she'll be picked up by her :( I think she's worked out that I can't lift her so she's currently asleep on top of me since it's wet and cold today

Man. Reading manga in English is still a shitshow in 2026. You have no idea if you'll get a good translation or if the official translation will even be finished. Sometimes it's super slow too. And now there're the bullshit AI translations...

I have now read 13 volumes of TeniPuri and I'm enjoying it! Ryouma and Tezuka are my favourites so far

Starra / Hannah @starra-rambles.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

My big cat is now asleep on the spare bed which is usually where she is in the afternoon She came to see me in my room briefly earlier so I'm taking this to mean she really is okay now

Starra / Hannah @starra-rambles.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

My big cat is still convinced she'll be grabbed if she comes anywhere near my mum so she's enjoying the day sleeping on the shed roof outside my room

Um apparently my big cat suddenly yowled in pain earlier out of nowhere while she was sitting on my mum??? And it spooked her badly My mum told me about it and once my big cat came back inside (she went out after this happened) she wanted lots of pats for reassurance :(

My favourite black teas are lapsang souchong and golden monkey so far. English breakfast can be pretty good too. I dislike Earl Grey and really don't like Assam Once again thinking about how I only really like black tea if it's trying to be something different lol (though EB doesn't fall into this)

Friede is autistic thanks for listening (he went from not caring at all about Pokemon to being so obsessed with them that he became a Professor... you don't just do that, dammit!!) (It's just a headcanon but I stand by it okay)

My hot EGGZ take is that Grian isn't the most chaotic member, it's Etho. Etho's by far the silliest of them actually (Like... Grian wouldn't have made those toilet flushing sounds lol)

Lmao there's a line in Jevin's newest episode where some of the other Hermits are sarcastically asking what the "C" in "C Team" stands for and Joel goes "Well we'll tell you later but it's something we can't say" sjgsdghdsj how'd that make it in the edit
