The only way I've been able to play through the entire levels in good future mode was in modern versions of RSDK Sonic CD where you can restart the level in the same time of the level, and I've always wanted to lay back after achieving the good ending and enjoy everything I (As Sonic) have achieved.

I guess following your previous game's structure, something like an unlockable game mode or extra that once you complete the game with the good ending, you can replay the entire game with the levels starting from the good future.
