The fact Tom Lehrer died this year was enough for it to be a POS for me. He was funny, and accurately depicted people - (especially Americans) with wit and satire. To lose Dolly on top of that would make me Local 58 myself....(Front Lawn, Face up, Feet together).

I LOVE the 'ugly' stages of art. It's like when a butterfly reaches it's chrysalis stage. I think it has its own form of beauty in this raw state. The way the pain conjoins, the complementing colors you already have, and the base shading is so beautiful to see!

Scented wax cubes work REALLY well to deodorize those things. You can cut them into little sticks and slip them between the bars just a little to where you can pull them out easily. You have to wipe it down afterwards, but it works better than candles do, and you don't get soot!

I honestly didn't understand the benefits of Kelp Forests until I played Subnautica. All the life that lives there and creates oxygen is astounding. It's hard to realized how much good those do until you see it for yourself - even if just made in 1's and 0's.

Anyone from Texas (like me) can tell you that the Guadalupe river floods ALL THE TIME when it rains heavily. Also - where are the assholes who usually say that Californian's deserve disasters at for these people? It happened to a Christian Camp. I can't think of anything more biblical than that.

As someone who lived in Houston, Texas for 23 years of my life - I can assure you this was not unprecedented. This is normal flash flood behavior. Back in 1998, we canceled an entire Girl Scout's camping trip in Kerrville because heavy rain was on the forecast....and guess what? It flooded.

If things are to be fixed - this is what needs to be done: 1. Term limits for ALL politicians. 2. Wage limits for ALL politicians. 3. Age limits for ALL politicians. If you're over 70, you shouldn't be in office. 4. Donation limits for ALL politicians. Otherwise, we're just an Oligarchy.
