The perks of starting over 😌

StarN01R @starn01r.bsky.social · 17/10/2024

Watch Dogs' story was continued in today's stream, hence the temporarily reapplied textureless Game Noir style. Once playthrough is completed, the blending of textures will be prioritized and further refined. How it started: / How it's going:

More impressions from.. Game Noir Demo (WIP): Watch Dogs (2014) #game #noir #rgb #vintage #dark #wallpaper #art #black #bronze #gold #sepia

Sepia-toned image of a city skyline with tall buildings and a river in the foreground. Bridges cross over the river, and a few cars are visible on the roads alongside the buildings, creating a vintage urban atmosphere.

A dimly lit city street scene features a motorcyclist riding in the foreground at an intersection. Cars are stopped at traffic lights. A building with a "Pizzeria" sign is on the corner. The atmosphere is dark and overcast.

A dark, stylized city street scene at night with two silhouetted figures. One is pushing a motorcycle, and the other is walking nearby. Tall buildings and streetlights are visible, casting a soft glow.

Sepia-toned cityscape featuring tall skyscrapers against the sky. Sunlight reflects off a glass building, casting dramatic shadows. A "For Rent" sign is visible on one building, and a chain-link fence appears in the foreground.

Seems so, yeah 😅 However, the effect is only applied to the Twitch Stream, so that viewers can adjust the colors, e.g. for wallpaper art. (I see the normal game.) Currently aiming for a textureless noir look (WIP), but MC with 0% textures is too pointless ig 🤔

Working on some things.. Game Noir Style - slight mix-in of textures, esp for games like Minecraft, coz that's essential info - shader for transparent objects, like 🔥💡👓🌊 Channel - persona visualization + voice - spatial environment

Shower Thought: When looking at an empty 3D scene view, it's basically an endless virtual world full of potential. Not infinite tho, as technically, the variables lose accuracy at certain distances/precisions. Fascinating, how that's kinda similar to reallife's Planck length. ~op
