He honors Izanami and Tsukuyomi, and rejects Loki and Set. I think he partially lumps his own latent divinity in with the demons. Not Izanagi's divinity per se, but Nakajima's own, as the one who brought them into the world. He'd rather be a person who made a mistake than a god who cursed and saved.

I didn't really understand Nakajima's character in Goddess Reincarnation, but Warrior of the Demon City made it much clearer I think. He has a strong sense of duty to correct perceived wrongs, but cannot glorify (classical definition) himself. He claims his mistakes are uniquely human,-

What I was replying to cuz its a bit relevant. Incidentally the compound that harms demons in the DDS, mercuric sulfide, is also a red substance. Alchemy heads will know the red philly stone as mercury and sulfur purified and fused, so mercury sulfide purifies demons. IDT its Egypt's red sand tho.

Magnets are of course an attractive and repulsive force, in this case bringing the god and their vessel closer together, and also bringing the human and demon worlds together, while also separating them (Yumiko's death and Nakajima's mission etc). While Hag and the boys are visually very Buddhist, they're also still strongly Shinto in nature and theming, so imo it's better to see them, even the sons, as being closer to the original form and progressing towards that division. Even the former example is Danzo speaking, himself very Senju.

In more mechanical terms, fighting her would put their chakra into contact as ninshu, which would allow him to see her memories. This is what happened to Naruto and Sasuke the three times they connected, and how Naruto saw Obito's and fragments of Nagato's memories while fighting as well.

Otherwise, I do read a decent amount of Naruto/Boruto fanfiction, but one aspect I don't see represented much is the architecture, which imo feels like a giant Buddhist temple and Shinto shrine mixed, representing the village as Senju/Uchiha synthesis. Talismans on every wall & even the train gates.
