I think it's a descriptivism/prescriptivism thing... Whether you define lesbian as "into girls" or "only into girls", linguistically both are reasonable, neither is 'wrong' and there are some contexts where it *kinda* makes more sense but it pisses me off too because it's oft just lesbian erasure

it's important to draw a line between 'smart' and 'knows things' and I think a lot of both is more to do with curiosity and perseverance than anything else! you start unaware, then you ask questions, you be patient with your ignorance, and little by little you gain insight

It's a kind of catch-22 where it opens the door to terrible abuse, but school is pretty abusive by default also... I think a lot about how if the world was full of truly good schools, everything would be a whole lot better.

I think it depends on what you're focusing on! Something focused on characters is easier, but you can have an OC setting that meets what the plot needs. Compare/contrast "fanfic of X" with "OC work inspired by X"! You can write a love letter without that love letter being "set in" the original work.

last is practice you'll mess up but you can't mess up THAT bad rule of thumb is, trace a line from the side of your nose, then: -straight up, brow starts there -through iris, arch there -through outer eye corner, ends there youtube tutorial may be ideal, there are guide pictures on google images too

first I think can be solved by makeup (and obviously laser/IPL but that's presumably not within reach) third is kinda experimentation, but if you can get to a store that sells makeup you can get assistance, if the social anxiety isn't insurmountable (second I'm also trying to figure out...)

I think all writers need to get comfortable with imperfect first drafts. It's way easier to take something imperfect and clean it up, than it is to just whip out something perfect first try with no edits. The best gemstones still need to be cut and polished to shine properly!

It's good since it lets the former villains have more moments! But also since forgiveness is really important. Otherwise nobody could make mistakes! So reminders that people can be forgiven are reassuring to those of us who make or have made mistakes and feel guilty or anxious about the idea.

I think, learning to be okay with "bad" art, so you can approach it without emotions blocking you. Maybe studying an artist you like and trying to recreate their art could be insightful? The ideas aren't important in this case, that'll come naturally once you're happier with your technique.
