I agree with the notion that we discovered what the proteins were before computers. AlphaFold 2 solved a 50 yr old biology mystery by accurately predicting 3D protein structures, including folds and unknown shapes, without direct human reasoning. What a time to be alive!

Friend, you run into the same issue with mRNA research. The fact is, quantum computing can simulate protein folding at the atomic level in seconds vs months or even years. It would advance mRNA research and all other drug discovery.
