@lucahjin.bsky.social's goggly-eyed pin is the latest edition to my lanyard pin collection.

Group of pins featuring a black cat on books, 'B Joyful', a Reese's cup mascot, a googly-eyed horse, Lucario, Minnie Mouse as a pirate that has a caption 'I never surrender', and a Black reaper stone from Final Fantasy 14 on a Splatoon lanyard. On the bottom, a pink octopus badge puller

I said to myself I would not pull for Aston Machan because she was too weird for me when I saw her in that one cutscene with Daiwa and Vodka. So, I did a pull just for funsies, and because she seems too adorable to resist, and HERE SHE IS! #umamusume

My first playthrough of Persona 4 Golden is complete. Managed to get the True Ending (will try for Golden Ending in New Game Plus, as well complete the compendium, get all the quests done, and try some of the things I never did the first time around). I'm so happy with my family and team of goobers

I would like to dedicate this year's International Cat Day to my cat, Azrael, whom I had lost a few months ago. My little sunshine, I will never forget you. Beau and Monty also miss you, too.

WHY IS IT THAT I GET INSANE PULLS WHEN I AM NOT RECORDING!? Seriously, I was not planning on pulling for Inari One, but when I saw her stats and abilities, I figured, she seems okay and then THIS happens. Just so you know, I got the Director AND "Eclipse First..." quote!

Today for #NationalLibraryWeek, I just want to share, as a library worker, that after working in the library for years, it teaches you a lesson on the importance of community and how having unlimited access to various media for free is a blessing, especially if don't have (or make) a lot of money.

Your annual reminder of #transgenderdayofvisibility; that remembering and celebrating the lives of transgender people should be every day, not just this day.

Text from Discord post by Anikiki of Star Haven Studios:
Hey everyone, today is Transgender Day of Visibility.

However, we all need to be reminded that recognizing transgender people shouldn't be limited to one day. We must remember the stories of the lives of transgender people and acknowledge the issues that are affecting them today.

In addition, as Women's History Month comes to a close, we must be reminded that trans women ARE women, because they see and act as female, according to societal norms.

In conclusion, trans women are women; trans men are men; trans people don't need to be assigned to a specific gender. Let's normalize this.

Picture below: a group of people waving transgender flags with words "Celebrate Transgender Day of Visibility" above them

So, the Mega Ran Magfest concert has been uploaded to YouTube and it reminded me to show @megaran.com the review I made of his book. This is from my Discord server. Hope that's okay.

Text: "Dream Master: A Memoir: From the Stoop to the Stage to the Stars" by Raheem "Mega Ran" Jarbo

"This is the story of a boy who believe
that whatever he dreamed he would come to achieve,
but never in his life that he could dream he could be
an inspiration to those who came after he."
~ Mega Ran, "Dream Master"

The following words are from a song of the same name as his memoir written by nerdcore rap artist Raheem Jarbo, better known as Mega Ran (in fact, the song itself is a summary of this book). Taking his love of all things from his childhood such as video games and wrestling, he creates rap lyrics, and makes a successful career out of it.

"Once upon a time, before 'Beats and the Rhymes", Raheem developed a love for comic books, action figures, and video games. Because of this, he was often bullied, as well as being a large-framed, smart kid. Thankfully, it was video games that kept him out of the dangerous streets of Philadelphia, proving once again that hobbies, regardless of how silly they may be, was better than "getting high" or getting involved in violence.

The book also covered his teaching days before leaving it to focus on his music career. Not only did he make albums focusing on video games, particularly "Mega Man" (so much he achieved a World Record for most songs about The Blue Bomber), the WWE, and The Notorious B. I. G. This passion gained the attention of big companies, Capcom and WWE, and soon, Mega Ran got his big break by doing collaborations with them. He even found someone who loved music so much, he married her. This memoir is one of those feel-good stories where you are glad someone like Mega Ran has gained this much success and respect from gamers and music lovers.

Now, there are more amazing events that were not mentioned in his memoir, such as becoming a father to his adopted son. Of course, these events and many more, as the song goes, "haven't been written yet".
