iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

realized that while ive posted whole comics with this Thing here, ive never actually shared my updated design for him. these are some cleaned up versions of some sprite redraws that i thought would look the nicest! Tennaaaa tenna my animal #deltarune

Poses redrawn from sprites of Tenna from deltarune in my style. He is drawn fatter than in canon with slight color and design tweaks. Notably he has a tail, big star-shaped lapels, a patterned tie, and his antennae are stylized to act as though they're kind of like eyes. This set includes his flower, whisper, twirl, and "smash cut" poses.

same as previous but with different poses. includes his frightened pose, pointing at camera pose, him covering his nose like a doggy, one of him shrunken down under a spotlight, and of course. his spraying foam pose

punishment (he punishes himself enough quite frankly) and i think about literally all the horrible things that have happened or Can happen to him and i put my head in my hands. i think about him so so much its not even funny. His. everything about him hurts me so so bad 💔

things he cant have or things he shouldnt be Allowed to have as a darkner. its such a knife twist of a character trait especially for somebody like tenna who just. Does not deserve the fate hes been given. Hes certainly made mistakes, and done wrong but the crime does Not equal the (3/4)

most especially the Dreemurrs ofc, who he has come to see as His family. a big part of the tragedy of him 2 me is not that he was doomed to die by fate, but rather that he is doomed to never be part of or be able to participate in the things he wants to the most. I love how much he wants (2/4)

thank you very much!! ive been spinning tenna around in my brain for so many months and hes just so... full of shame and grief and Guilt and self hatred and the longing of 1000000 suns. i think often about how much his motives directly surround his family and his longing to be Part of one, (1/4)

some people find that adding content warnings to stuff cheapens works but i find it infinitely more valuable to tell people whats in something right on the tin. i think its important for people to be able to browse safely + at their own discretion when they are ready to engage with it! (3/3)

as i initially wasn't even planning to color this or even. post it to this account but it got away from me! and ofc!! i try my best to tag + mention stuff in plain text (without censoring) for the purpose of word filtering, especially for more sensitive subjects like those found here. i know (2/3

auuu thank you very much :D im really happy with how this turned out as just a couple weeks ago this was a bunch of disorganized thoughts on some scrap paper (many of which are things ive been thinking about since like. july lol) + im glad i could make it into something more fully fledged (1/3)

and also heres my cover page! i thought itd maybe flow better on here if i put it last idk. an alt name for this was nesting doll. or just calling it the mpreg comic bc well. it is. idk how much it counts considering my tenna is bigender + butch but like the vibe is there.

Cover page for "The Surrogate," a comic by @starfacedstudio. It depicts the title within an egg, with two robotic hands (belonging to tenna) wrapped around it surrounded by wires.

(16/16) and for what its worth, as much as tenna is the subject here, this is a comic i consider just as much about kris as it is about him. also happy slightly-belated trans day of visibility. this was not purposefully done around the date howeverrrr theres transgenderism afoot here

Tenna holds up a baby Kris. Kris stands before Tenna, his arms cut off laying in the snow, pipis found next ot him.

"Your arms were made for carrying,
to comfort and give care,
your wish to have and then to hold
lay beside you, undeserving."

"You're the TV after all,
and you weren't made for this."

(cw pregnancy imagery) i dont think the studio has an exact design but i wanted to do something fun for it. loosely based on one of the smile comic pages. (14/16)

A view of the Dreemurr house appears within Tenna's abdomen, hands cloying for something he cannot reach. He stands before Kris, far from the TV studio.

"You know it would never suit you.
And it really never should have.
You've been a bad TV,
and your first mistake was to want."

1242

(cw pregnancy imagery) this ones also a fav of mine (13/16)

In the depths of his despair, Tenna smashes into the reflection in the mirror. As he is TV world, he focuses on the goings-on of his crew within his studio and imagines the Green Room within his womb.

"For your love is unacceptable,
Too intense and long and far,
And cold and dread starts seeping in
While guilt blooms amidst all you are within"

(11/16) this comic in my files is called my pipis thesis btw. my thesis about pipis.

The pipis is shown to be cracking, or hatching, almost as if its a black hole or a whole universe.

"For what's it in an egg?
When you peel the layers back?
To look inside and know for certain
what's beneath those shallow cracks."

"But you can never know for sure.
You will never really know.
You missed that chance to look inside,
instead spilled way to its contents."

2242

(cw pregnancy imagery. pretend pregnancy, anyways) (7/16)

Tenna looks into the mirror with a pillow stuffed inside of his shirt trying to emulate Toriel. A figure in the doorway, Spamton, interrupts him.

"That envy for their brilliance
cracks shame within your core.
But you deserve it, don't you?
To find use outside your purpose?"

1262

(6/16) hi tennaville i missed you. my unfinished beast

Early-era Tenna looks out into the lightworld, where he sees Toriel while she is pregnant with Asriel. He begins to think to himself.

"It began to knock within your tube:
Fantasies, dreams, and thoughts.
Those all the more befitting of someone
above your make and model."

1252

also will likely post more thoughts later bc boy do i have many. but i want to leave them as a separate post to purposefully leave this a little abstract for the sake of multiple readings / interpretations :) (3/16)

A young Kris reaches up and places their hands upon the TV screen. Tenna is imagining himself inside the room with them.

"But you were touched by loving hands,
tiny and sincere,
that found a comfort in your glow,
and instilled an idyllic dream."

1272

posting as a thread with each image so they don't get janked up by the square formatting of posts with 4 images... bear with me. i hate formatting stuff here but ill try my best 😭 ill be adding some tags or notes to some images for the sake of filtering as well! (2/16)

Tenna is imagining about the Dreemurrs.

"There's a sickness in your head,
and you think it's called desire.
You knew the day you saw them
that you yearned for something farther."

"For the TV shouldn't ever want,
and the TV shouldn't need:
You knew you should have never been
more than the TV."
