(What if this was a hypothetical design update? I think changing the scarf kind of fits the fall vibes of the character a lot more than the regular PMD scarf from before. Also kinda changed some other subtle things, that happens with time anyways. I might end up reworking the scarf's colors a bit)

I try to think I did the right thing, but I feel terrible for having to end a friendship like that. We traded shinies on the DS, swapped plushies, the meetups were a good time. It's just a bit sad that it suddenly ended. It's an emotional roller coaster for sure

Yes thank you, I overthink so much and it tends to end poorly for me. I've been cut off from Discord servers for similar reasons in the past and I understand envy is a big weakness for me and I end up accidentally trying too much to be like other people. Today I had to cut off an online friend of almost two years that I trusted. It kind of hurts that it had to go out this way so suddenly. We had previously met up irl a couple of times and I will always cherish those memories and the gifts I got from them, but seems like some things aren't meant to last.
...A couple of days ago, as an experiment, I briefly tried changing the name of my alt account on here to something that I thought would fit me better in an online space, since I'm early in the process of transitioning and no longer want to be tied to a past username. They messaged me later saying that they felt put off by my change and that it was too similar to the name they chose, even though that wasn't the intention at all. I was forced back into my shell and reversed the change, later explaining how I came up with the idea of the name I wanted to use. They then said that I was copying them on too many things and it was weird.

Okay. I admit. I look down on myself in a negative light a lot because I feel like I started my adult life four years later than everyone else, and still haven't found my place in the world yet. And I honestly do envy the people who have. I feel inspired and look up to them so I can try to explore new aspects of my own life and try to build something that makes me happy. Something that I want. A life worth living. I don't know what my life is going to be yet, and I still want to try new things to see if I can find a place for myself. If I end up "copying" someone, that means I think you're cool and look up to you.

So unfortunately, I had to cut off someone I trusted. I always worry about getting "cancelled", but. I've never done anything illegal. I do my best to be good. I just want to be good enough. Why does it have to hurt just to try to get there?
