It is meant to be a spaceship but you're right haha it does look like a cursor, I tried to design it in a way I haven't designed a spaceship before. That is a very cool marketing strategy I discovered though haha, and thank youu

Also wanted to say that maybe you want the shadow different depending on the character's personality. I would relate lots of shadow to a character with not good intentions. Hope this helps even a little

On the left is my favorite version of what I could think of. Even though the glasses don't technically connect on the bottom, I do think it's more readable without it. The darker skin color there can suggest the glasses connect or that it's resting on the nose and I find that cute :)

Thank youu, I didn't make the palette though. It was made by Klafooty/Mallory, here it is on Lospec lospec.com/palette-list... They have some other nice palettes and very cool art, they were big inspiration for me when I was starting pixel art, so I like to promote them when I get the opportunity 😄

When I first saw the sketch, I could see it being a a large hollowed out pumpkin haha but I understand what you did now and it's looking great. I love your style, it was delightful looking through the art you've made :)

I understand completely haha, you could just take inspiration from other palettes though. That's more-so learning, not copying hehe
