Ep. 71 of Star Boy
A comic by StarBoyWebcomics posted May 24, 2026. Frame 1: Star Boy, upside down, peeks into the frame from the top left corner, watching The Artist, who is saying, “Well, this is it. The end of an era.” Frame 2: Star Boy is now peeking in from the top right corner, while The Artist says, “Making Star Boy content has been fun, and a great experience all around. However, at the end of the day, I can't keep up the pace needed to feed the social media machine. At least, not while having any kind of life, or pursuing more effective ways of generating income.” Frame 3: “Yes! Finally!” Says a delighted Star Boy, dropping into the scene. “An end to these ridiculous comics!” “Well, not quite,” The Artist says. “Whut?” Star Boy replies. “I still plan to keep creating Star Boy content,” The Artist explains, “but there won't be a regular schedule for it.” Frame 4: “At the very least, I'm eventually going to finish Star Boy Origins so you can find out how it ends,” The Artist says, now looking right at you. “I already know how it ends,” Star Boy says, staring at the audience in despair. “It's MY origin story.” “Yes, but everyone else deserves to see how it ends, too,” The Artist says. Star Boy says, “I suppose it was too much to hope for.”

Page 38 of the Star Boy Origins graphic novel by StarBoyWebcomics posted May 17, 2026. Frame 1: Time break. Dwyn hands Star Boy a rock, saying, “I'd like to see if we can recreate our experiment with the rock.” “Okay,” Star Boy says. Frame 2: Time Break. Star Boy is wearing a jester hat and staring at Zephyr who, shrugging, says, “I never said it was a GOOD idea.” Frame 3: Time break. Star Boy and Dwyn, with yellow spiky hair and her flight tech, happily fly through the sky together. “This is the best part of my day!” Dwyn says.” “Mine, too!” Star Boy agrees. “I think I need to alter my glasses to account for the sunlight,” Dwyn says. “I'd like a magnification function, too, so I can get a better view of the world below.” Frame 4: Time break. “I'd like to try being something other than a healer, please,” Star Boy, wearing a Robin Hood hat, says to a knight, who hands him a bow and arrows, saying, “How about taking a shot at archery?” Frame 5: Time Break. Dwyn stands by Star Boy, considering the purple gem in her hand. “Huh,” she says. “The gem is purple this time. The composition of the rocks you consume must alter the results. I wonder if it's still as brittle as the other one.” Frame 6: In a series of frames, Dwyn drops the gem to the ground where it cracks open. Frame 7: Star Boy and Dwyn stare at each other, covered in shiny purple glitter. “Ugh!” Dwyn says. “Glitter everywhere! At least the other one was useful.” “Maybe we should throw it further away next time?” Star Boy suggests. “Definitely,” Dwyn agrees. “Speaking of which, we should find another rock.” Frame 8: Time break. Star Boy is wearing a Phantom of the Opera mask. Zephyr says, “I think not. Let's stick to hats.” Frame 9: Star Boy and Dwyn are flying through the sky again, but this time Dwyn's glasses are glowing yellow. “Wow!” she says. “Now I can see everything from up here! Uh oh! Looks like someone's in trouble. Let's help!”

A comic by StarBoyWebcomics posted May 15, 2026. Frame 1: Two Star Boys are having a sword fight below a caption declaring, “Inside each of us there are two Star Boys.” Frame 2: “Oh no!” says the first Star Boy as they notice the sign. “Quick! We have to erase it before something bad happens!” “Wait!” says the second Star Boy, sheathing his sword. “I want to see where this is going.” Frame 3: As the Star Boys watch, the caption changes to say, “One never wants to see a Star Boy comic again, one can't wait to see what The Artist comes up with next.” Frame 4: “That's just ridiculous,” says the first Star Boy. “No, no,” says the second Star Boy thoughtfully. “I think there may be a valid point there.”

Ep. 67 of Star Boy #starboywebcomics #comics #freedom #responsibility #philosophy
A comic by StarBoyWebcomics posted May 13, 2026. Frame 1: “I can say or do whatever I want!” declares a stick figure. “Freedom is a right!” Star Boy looks over his shoulder at the person as he passes, saying, “Actually, freedom is a responsibility.” Frame 2: “For example,” Star Boy says, turning to face the now concerned figure and drawing his sword, “I could exercise my freedom by cutting off your head like I really want to. But if I did that, I would be vio1ating YOUR freedom to keep your head where you want it. So your freedom relies on me being responsible enough to not vio1ate it.” Frame 3: Star Boy continues, “True freedom to say or do whatever you want cannot exist for more than one person unless everyone wants the same things.” “Doesn't that make a free society a paradox?” the stick figure asks, looking confused. “It is,” Star Boy says, “but it's the best we've got. Which is why it's important to be responsible and respectful of others when you exercise your freedoms.” Frame 4: “That almost makes sense,” the stick figure says pensively. “That almost makes me want to leave you with your head,” Star Boy says, sheathing his sword. “I don't suppose...?” “No.” “No harm in asking. I can be responsible.”

Frame 1: Star boy is wearing a veiled boater hat, looking to a delighted Zephyr who is saying, “Definitely not.” Frame 2: Time break. Dwyn and Star Boy are sitting on the couch, watching the tv where a a reporter is commentating on a long-haired individual in the background using a device to levitate a car. “A new villain has been wreaking havoc lately...” comes from the tv. “This is why we need superheroes,” Dwyn says. “I don't understand,” Star Boy says. “Why would anyone cause senseless harm to society like this?” Frame 3: Now the reporter is being levitated upside down saying, “... with what appears to be a device for manipulating gravity. He's calling himself Mr. Gravity.” “Maybe he feels misunderstood by society,” Dwyn suggests. “Or undervalued. Or he's just plain greedy. Or desperate. Probably for attention, with a name like that. He's just using electromagnets. That's not even clever.” Frame 4: Time break. Star Boy is wearing a rice hat in Zephyr's apartment saying, “Hat shopping?” “Sorry, I have other plans today,” Zephyr says. “Would you care to accompany me?” “Sure!” Star Boy says. “Where are we going?” “Have you ever heard of LARPing...?” Frame 5: Zephyr, wearing a fancy Victorian dress, presents Star Boy before a person wearing a medieval full helmet and a huge sword on their back. “Fresh bl00d!” Zephyr says. “Wonderful!” says the helmeted individual, handing Star Boy a staff. “It's great to have you! Take this. We always need more healers.” Frame 6: Star Boy and Zephyr enthusiastically engage in a play battle. Frame 7: Back in Zephyr's home, Star Boy says, “So, basically people dress up and have play battles?” “Yup!” Zephyr says. “It's fun and great exercise. It can be educational, too, especially if you find groups with an appreciation for historical accuracy.” Frame 8: “Why isn't everyone doing this?” Star Boy asks. “Because some people think it's weird,” Zephyr sa…

On the bottom track is a pile of apples. Star Boy is standing by a lever, surveying the scene. Frame 2: “...” Star Boy says, staring at the audience with a raised eyebrow. “Really?” He pulls the lever with a “KA-CHUNK” Frame 3: The trolley reaches the switch, with a rainbow fwooshing in front of it. Frame 4: The trolley passes on the bottom track. A comic by StarBoyWebcomics posted May 6, 2026. Frame 1: Star boy is crossing a bridge, looking over the edge, and saying, “This isn't what I expected when they told me there was a troll under the bridge.” Frame 2: The scene pans down, revealing a mean looking troll looking up at Star Boy (who has a raised eyebrow) from under the bridge, saying, “That's because you are stupid. You have the intellect of a billy goat. No, wait! A billy goat could run circles around your intelligence, then charge you off the bridge!” Frame 3: “Does this life actually make you happy?” Star Boy asks the troll as he continues to cross the bridge. “Sitting under a bridge insulting people seems like a wasted life to me.” “Uh...” says the troll. Star Boy continues, “It is more rewarding to build people up than to tear them down. Try it sometime.” Frame 4: “Your hair is... nice...?” the troll says uncertainly. “Thank you!” Star Boy says. “See? Doesn't that feel better than an insult?” “You're brighter than you look,” the troll says. “...” Star Boy replies. “This is going to take a lot of work.”

Page 36 of the Star Boy Origins graphic novel by StarBoyWebcomics posted May 3, 2026. Frame 1: Star Boy and Dwyn, connected by Dwyn's flying device, stand outside the basement stairs leading to Dwyn's house, staring at the translucent red rock encasing Dwyn's leg. Frame 2: “Interesting,” Dwyn says pensively. “Metamorphism. Your internal heat and pressure turned the rock into a gemstone. However, the heat must also be so extreme that it made the stone brittle, so it breaks easily.” Frame 3: “That makes sense,” Star Boy says, “But why is your leg now encased in a gem?” Frame 4: Both of them silently consider the gem-encased leg. Frame 5: “Well...” Dwyn says. “This is just a hypothesis... Since we're working with genuine pseudoscience here, I think it's probably because of radiation.” Frame 6: “... Radiation.” Star Boy says. “Yup,” Dwyn replies. “It may seem oversimplified, but it IS how most superheroes get their powers.” Frame 7: Dwyn stares down at her trapped leg with thoughtful concern, saying, “I don't suppose you could go get a hammer...?” “Yeah, sure,” Star Boy says. Frame 8: Time break. Star boy is wearing a top hat and bow tie and looking to Zephyr who is saying, “Hmm... It COULD work, but still doesn't seem quite right.

Frame 2: “I'm fighting against fools who think everyone should be emotionally repressed!” says the angry person with a red lightsaber. “I am defending the galaxy from people who let their impulsive emotions control their actions,” says the calm person with the green lightsaber. Frame 3: “You both have valid points,” Star Boy says to the potential combatants. “There's no need to fight a war over this.” Frame 4: “To war!” both combatants declare, ignoring Star Boy to clash against each other. Star Boy sighs and says, “Have it your way. Just don't get any stars involved in your wars.”

Frame 2: Time break. Star Boy and Dwyn stand outside their house, Star Boy wearing the cuff attached to the flying device Dwyn is wearing. Dwyn says, “I've tweaked the stabilisers and streamlined the wires. It should be much easier to control now. Ready?” “Ready!” Star Boy replies. Frame 3: “Much better!” Dwyn says, her hair yellow and spiky as she hovers. “I want to go higher. Care to join me?” “Sure!” Star boy says. Frame 4: Grinning, Dwyn and Star Boy fly through the clouds together, Dwyn with her device and Star Boy fwooshing on a rainbow. “This is incredible!” Dwyn says. “I've never felt so free in my life! I can see why Tony likes this.” Frame 5: Back on the ground outside the basement, Dwyn says, “Wow. I wish I could fly all the time, like you. How are you feeling?” “A little tired, but good,” Star Boy says. “It's been a while since we had that much fun together.” Frame 6: Dwyn begins fixing her hair as it fades back to normal, saying, “Yeah. Maybe we should do it more often. By the way, whatever happened to that rock you ate?” Star Boy stares at his stomach and says, “Huh. I'd forgotten about that. Let me check.” Frame 7: “Here it is!” Star Boy says, spitting out the rock with a bleh. The rock is now red and translucent. “Is that a ruby...?” Dwyn asks, staring at the rock in surprise and interest. Frame 8: “I don't know. Here.” Star Boy hands the ruby to Dwyn, who says, “Ow! Why was I worth the time and effort it took for you to rescue me?” Frame 3: “Capability is not what makes someone worthy of rescue,” Star Boy says, turning to leave as the person looks on thoughtfully. “If that were the case, no one would ever need to be rescued. He is filled with joy and excitement, carrying nothing but a bindle containing all his worldly possessions. He is either unaware or uncaring of the impending danger in his path as he hurtles towards the gravitational pull of a planet. Instead, his attention is focused on the sights around him, particularly an ethereal white rose representing freedom, innocence, and passion. The constellation Sirius chases at his heels, offering warning of the imminent danger and trying to encourage the Fool to pay attention to his surroundings lest his adventures come to an unfortunate end.

Page 31 of the Star Boy Origins graphic novel by StarBoyWebcomics posted March 29, 2026. Frame 1: Star Boy and Dwyn stand by a table featuring a device with a cuff connected by wires to some type of controller and a couple of oblong shapes. Dwyn explains, “It's just a transistor, though I suppose it could also be called a transducer... You know what? It'll be easier to show you. Let's bring it outside. I need to test if it actually works, anyway.” Frame 2: Standing outside Dwyn's house, Star Boy wears the cuff, which is attached by a wire to the controller on Dwyn's belt, which in turn has wires to the oblongs on her feet. “Alright,” Dwyn says, “Time to switch it on. If I did everything right...” Frame 3: Dwyn's hair becomes yellow and spiky as yellow beams from the oblongs on her feet lift her into the air. “W-woah!” she says. “You're flying!” Star Boy says, looking surprised and delighted. Frame 4: “Yes, but...” Dwyn says, suddenly closer to an alarmed Star Boy. “It's harder to control than I expected... This might take some practice.” Frame 5: Dwyn flies back the other way, saying, “Easy does it...! Aaaand ease off the power...” Star Boy watches in admiration. Frame 6: “Wow!” Dwyn says, on the ground again. “That was even more fun than I expected!” Frame 7: “That was really cool, but Dwyn...” Star Boy says as Dwyn fixes her hair that has the yellow fading out of it. “How does making YOU fly help ME get off Earth?” Frame 8: “It's a test for future projects!” Dwyn explains, her hair back to normal. “It has proven some of my methods for controlling your power. And, in theory, these could boost your flying power enough to escape our gravity.”

Frame 1: Star Boy, wearing a large white newsboy hat decorated with black pentagons with the point at the top of his head visible through the soft top of the hat, is talking to Zephyr, saying, “Ooooh!” “I've never seen them do that except around you,” Zephyr says. “What are they?” Star Boy asks. “No one knows!” Zephyr says. Frame 2: “I SAY they're mine,” Zephyr continues as they resume walking, “but that's just because they're always around me. Really, they're their own and they do what they want. Frame 4: “Personally,” Zephyr continues, “I like to think of them as being a reward from the universe for my...” Frame 5: Zephyr flings up his arm and stares at the audience, surrounded by sparkles and a rainbow background, saying, “AUDACITY!” Frame 6: “Audacity...?” Star Boy asks, impressed. “Yes!” Zephyr says, resuming the walk. “A willingness to take bold risks. The world puts a lot of pressure on you to fit in and be 'normal'.” Frame 7: “But do you know what I think is far better than being normal?” Zephyr asks. “No, what?” Star Boy replies.
