And now I'm even struggling to draw my own sona. I would take a small break again but with how my life is going right now what else is there to do than draw. I don't know what else to do than ask here for inspiration and tips to be thrown at my face.

Like its flat and I suck at color contrasts and cohesiveness and I avoid shading because I don't even understand that either. I'm crappy at perspective and my posing is also bad. So many things I just feel like I need to make better but I don't know how to do any of that.

I feel like I'm horrible at expressing what I want to through drawing. My execution is often really poor, I don't know how certain things would look and even when I search for references it doesnt go well for me. I don't even really like my artstyle anymore but I don't know how to make it better.

I want to grow but I just.. don't know what I want to do and that just leaves me going nowhere. I want to make better things but I just get stumped anywhere I turn and I don't like what I make and then end up retreating. I wish I had confidence in what I'm doing, but I don't.

My drawing process is pretty bare and boring and I limit myself to drawing on a phone because a full drawing tablet feels too slippery to my touch or a pen. I just try to eyeball things and estimate but it doesnt work. I try different methods but nothing ever feels good so I end up giving up.

I think I'm hard on myself with this because he's supposed to represent me, even though I don't really like who I am. I don't have a lot of ideas when I try to draw and when I do, the execution is poor because I dont know what I want to go for. It doesn't come to me like other artists.
