Having a little too much fun putting together an (optional, though it might come looking for you) battle. Might be the toughest fight in the game; at least *my* endgame fleet isn't up to the task right now - and it's not even at its full strength yet.

Starsector: I really hate getting like halfway through implementing a mission using its acronym everywhere to tag dialog keys, then coming up with a better name for it. And then I want to use that original name for the immediate follow-up! Ugh, what a mess. Well, whatever. It's all one arc anyway.

2D and 3D have vastly different gameplay styles. I'd call it a sidegrade. Just look at the difference in gameplay between Starsector and Everspace. People are also limited in both skill and equipment, so 2D is also more accessible. Good luck and burn bright!

Oddy needs skill and strategy to shine. Just like the Conquest. It's also kinda bad in AI hands. Just like the Conquest. I'd use a MIRV on the large and some sabots on the mediums for better burst, but that's just me. Alternatively some [REDACTED] or [SUPER ALABASTER].

Small context for anyone else stumbling on this (from what I remember): - The "malware" was just some code that would mangle your save if you were playing with a certain unsavory mod (which is banned from most starsector places) - Moderators did moderator things - Things got exaggerated a lot

Pictured: a planet used to be here, until a bug let me "break it for salvage". Backing out of a menu made the game think the planet was a comm relay, and, well. At least I got some scrap out of it!

Added the ability to change the s-mods on a ship for a LOT of credits, at a player-owned colony with heavy industry. The original s-mods still require story points to add, but this should make it easier to revamp an endgame fleet.

It depends on what you mean large-scale. But practically not really. You need to edit the game's config file and increase the battle size from the default 400 to like 2k+ and fill it all up before you'd start seeing actual lag considering your hardware.
