When I flew down here, I made a promise to myself that, the day I came home to Calgary, I’d have gold around my waist. A medal around my neck doesn’t count, but running with Team International has been exactly what I needed, and I’m so glad my faith in myself and my team paid off

Bit of bookkeeping for the next few days. Updating stats, win/loss, payouts, track injuries, ect. Next few events coming up are S2 Saturday Morning 6/20, which would have aired the morning of the County Faire's second day. Central and South have tournaments the weekend after the Faire.

Where's Merlin? There he is, talking to someone tossing a ball of fire who looks bored. 'Give it a try' says the pyromancer, bemused at the stranger in the floor-length duster who... surprisingly, produces a spark, then a flame. 'Not bad!' "...question, is this supposed to hurt?" 'No-' "Yow!"

What's a belterweight champion? Your fighting weight has to be divisible by the weight of the belt to qualify as a contender.

010

Star-2 Opossum City @star2opossumcity.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

Dumpster diving is how I became a four-time belterweight champion, a two-time XTREAM champion (recognized only in Ohio), and a one-time women's champion.

010

Star-2 Opossum City @star2opossumcity.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

Like, who is STAR-2 supposed to appeal to? It's this hyper-specific crossroads of fighting game community, wrestling fandom, and roleplayers... which is actually less of a crossroad and more of a T-junction. Either way, if you're into all these things, then this might be the #efed for you.

I am musing on tag teams because I think I'd like to play around with the idea.

040

Star-2 Opossum City @star2opossumcity.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

I've avoided doing tag teams for mostly logistical reasons. Small player base, not wanting to deal with the extra work, figuring how it'd reflect win/loss records, momentum, ect. I think the way to make it work is to treat tag-teaming as its own league and teams as a single entity.

140

Star-2 Opossum City @star2opossumcity.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

I ran the numbers for the June STAR-2 South TV Taping this morning. Those results should be coming soon. I'm going to begin running the numbers for the actual County Faire tournament soon. I'm probably going to do a little write-up about all the teams between the Tapings and the Faire.
