More Snipe news! Very few Icelandic Snipe winter in England (wadertales.wordpress.com/2016/09/20/s...) This tagged bird left Cornwall at 7pm on 13th April and arrived in Iceland 16 hours later. Info from @tomasgunnarsson.bsky.social & @joseaalves.bsky.social #ornithology

A duck has been caught speeding on traffic cameras in the town of Koeniz in central Switzerland. Local police said the mallard - a wild duck - was snapped on radar images on 13 April clocking in at 52km (32 miles) in a 30km zone. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
