I don’t fear death… I fear dying before I can find out how all my favorite book series will end.

I Might have ordered one and bleached it to give it a vintage vibe 🤣

Fully forgot the wolves also are doing the Prince jerseys this year. Huge for the program.

Just goes to show you can spend a whole season working hard and fall short but it’s the offseason where the real magic happens

I’d only heard Dumbest Girl Alive before THPS and this hearing it while grinding down an escalator changed my life. This is why people who were mad they changed the soundtrack are missing what the OG soundtrack was about: music discovery and vibes.

Also inspired me to start working on a playlist that’s basically this vibe so if anyone has additional recommendations get at me open.spotify.com/playlist/2uZ...

I’ll check those out I haven’t really checked into to that first album other than sampling a few seconds on Spotify. Some of their stuff is a little too heavy on the electronica tilt for what I’m looking for (not that it’s bad), but either way I love when an artist just goes for it

This feels like a take with just the right amount of spiciness and I love it

Dumbest Girl Alive is also big in my rotation. Anything else I should be checking out?

Basically at any point over the last month if I’m in a car this song is playing at LEAST once on full volume

It feels like the perfect evolution of pop punk from the early 2000’s. That guitar riff speaks to me on a primal level I’m so jealous you got to see it live!

You’re telling me no one at Goodreads HQ said to the designer “uhhh hey bud I think that’s actually just a sperm”

Good cause I draw the line at quads.

You know I'm not actually making this trade on behalf of the wolves right? I'm just explaining my 2 sec thought process at midnight after a tough loss. lol if you want to take the picks out or hell if we could get a pick from them then great, it's the player part of this that I care 100x more about

030

Stanthony Edwards @stanthonyedwards.bsky.social · 29/05/2025

I mean I certainly won't argue FOR sending the picks, I just felt like it was comparable to Luka/AD in terms of return and level of players exchanged so I threw it in there. It's really one pick, a meaningless swap, and one 2nd Picks aside, what about the player exchange side of it?

Now the Pels can see what it's like when Zion comes back just for the 10 game stretch during which we play them 3 times.

Stanthony Edwards @stanthonyedwards.bsky.social · 29/05/2025

JFC what am I doing I'm down so bad right now.

010

Stanthony Edwards @stanthonyedwards.bsky.social · 29/05/2025

Keep randle at the 4 and put Zion at the 5, or better yet put Zion next to Naz and sign and trade randle to build out the bench including a backup big and PG?

100

Stanthony Edwards @stanthonyedwards.bsky.social · 29/05/2025

Rudy's limitations are offset somewhat by the elite outside shooting from CJ and Dejounte. They are sub-par defenders who could benefit from a reliable interior defensive anchor. Pels also have solid young wing defenders like the wolves so they can replicate that formula to some degree.

Stanthony Edwards @stanthonyedwards.bsky.social · 29/05/2025

More I think of this it doesn't as seem crazy. We just saw a similar trade of "young injured out of shape star for defensive center" with Luka. Rudy isn't AD but Zion is a more distressed asset and Dvo is a better role player than Christie, and they get draft capital.

If buying low was easy then everyone would do it!

010

Stanthony Edwards @stanthonyedwards.bsky.social · 29/05/2025

Honestly I have no clue how to value the seconds but if you ignore those or drop them it’s basically just the first this year. That swap would either not happen or be pretty close in value.

000

Stanthony Edwards @stanthonyedwards.bsky.social · 29/05/2025

Close your eyes and imagine: gets injured game 17, shuts down for most of the season, comes back game 77 knocks off some rust and dominates the playoffs after being fresh and rested. Other teams don’t have a scouting report prepared cause he didn’t play all year. Galaxy chess.

Stanthony Edwards @stanthonyedwards.bsky.social · 29/05/2025

I mean he’s 23 and has been in two WCF. Compare what we did to what San Antonio did with Wemby, tanking for two years instead of building winning habits early, or what the jazz have done. Sure I miss KAT but if we kept him and didn’t win this year then we’d be left with a bare cupboard for years

010

Stanthony Edwards @stanthonyedwards.bsky.social · 29/05/2025

What’s your beef with TC? He turned us from a perennial loser into a 2x WCF team with great young players and future flexibility during Ant’s prime years of 25-27. I think he’s killing it.
