I think if bsky had supports for small businesses, that could be a really good thing right now, especially for struggling creators.

Over the weekend I was in Kalamazoo for a car show and house DJ event hosted by my friend Dave aka DJ Draw. I was providing the visuals on a projector hooked up to my cintiq while the dance floor was bumpin. "Draw some cyberpunk girls." "Can do!"

Definitely the kiddos I'm thinking of! One thing if you're an adult making a choice for yourself to live and work in space. But you wouldn't want to rob your children of the opportunity to live on Earth should they choose.

I imagine that there might be a need for this kind of thing in the long run, a kind of "right to Earth gravity" on planetary surfaces. Everyone should be allowed to safely visit the homeworld, wherever they are from!

So I've begun an OSR comic! New pages will be uploaded to Patreon as I create them and will be a patron exclusive for a while, I will eventually post them to the OSR website. However, here are the first three!

What's up #portfolioday! My name is Sam Tung and I am a storyboard artist for film, animation, and videogames on projects like The Odyssey, X-Men '97, and Metroid Prime 4. I also wrote/directed a short film and do some TTRPG work. Not sure what's next -- let's make something cool!

Cover for LONGSWORD tabletop RPG: a pen and marker illustration of three medieval knights sitting around a campfire. The moon and the illumination of the fire on the landscape and the form the shape of a sword hilt.

Storyboards from the finale of TWISTERS (2024): Kate drives a truck pulling barrels in a trailer into a tornado.

Storyboard sequence from SUNNY (2024): a deleted scene where two children battle rhinoceros beetles

A screenshot from KNIGHTS & RELATIONSHIPS: a knight in armor sits by a fire at night.

I made this pilot animatic a few years back for a project I was developing at the time. It's a post-apocalyptic cyberpunk revenge story about a soldier who wakes up as a robot, ten years after his death. The story chronicles his quest to discover what happened to his family. Check it!!
