Oh, me? Not much, just getting pumped about Triangle Computing. It's almost ready to break through into the mainstream.

Triangle shaped Mini PC, with aluminium at tje front and rear and woodgrain on the rest. Chinese language overlay describes it having an N3450 CPU, USB 3.0, WiFi, HDMI and 8GB of RAM. Support for "win10 11 linux nas".

With rabbit holes, you always know where you get it, but you rarely know where you'll land. That's what's fun about them! That's what happened to me last week while exploring what one could do with classifiers, which are kind of an LLM/AI/SI(!!) model, but also not. Essentially, a classifier […]

I was trying to figure out how good/accurate an LLM is for particular tasks vs. how much it costs to use, under the assumption that many loops with a mediocre model will yield better results than just a couple of loops with a super fancy one. I ended up […] [Original post on social.seattle.wa.us]

Don't hate me. I just told my workstation to deploy, test, commit, and push, and it deployed, tested, committed, and pushed.

In a post-annual wellness visit moment of self-reflection: when did I become this person who voluntarily gets poked with needles?

Sometimes it feels like the majority of software development effort is based on niche, low-level efficiencies benefiting very few people.

As a multilingual individual, I find the English-speaking online communities smaller and more focused, which I guess is a natural response to having so many English speakers on each and every platform; I do miss idle chat, though

I own a car, my destination has ample parking, yet I still prefer the bus. I think it's the option 'not to think about it' while traveling. I can people-watch or write about it on Mastodon

Debian GNU/Hurd 2025 is officially released with 64-bit support, Rust, USB, SMP, and more stuff… I expected to see at least some excitement on my feed. Or maybe a single review video somewhere? Anywhere?

Been messing around with mesh communication stuff, it's kinda wild how far 'my' mesh goes without any real infrastructure

Being the data-driven, highly communicative individual that I am, here are some stats regarding the hired post: social.seattle.wa.us/@stags/1142320… 1. It was retweeted over 100 times (thanks, friends!) 2. This resulted in eight real people reading my www, and four even peeked […]

GET ME HIRED Hi, #seattle friends in #productmanagement or whatever hashtag makes sense. I'm looking for a job (like many Seattleites lately). I'm not asking for a contract or money or anything like that, but if you can squeeze me into an interview related to writing, reading, and leading […]

A bunch of plastic standoffs holding my screen broke inside my laptop. I didn't have any 'real' glue, so I used silicone I happened to buy for my kitchen sink. They do call it an adhesive. Long story short, I recommend this! So far, everything is perfect.

I've just tried installing Gentoo the easy way. It's still not that easy... ... but for the wrong reasons. - mostly code disappearing from the web, resulting in a 404 or technical errors with all kinds of repositories preventing me from compiling stuff I need

Linux peeps: Ubuntu -> Debian -> Arch -> Debian -> Gentoo. Amiright?

I believe that I tried the #fedihired thing in the past (Technical PM loves privacy, security, and long walks on the beach), so let's try more stuff! Who's into Seattle dog walks? LAN parties? Craft beer!

I wrote some code today. To keep my peers on their toes, I am writing different components in different languages and today I decided to give C++ some attention. While modern C++ is miles ahead of where it was last time I gave it a chance, it works really hard to remind me why I moved away […]
