Yesterday @zergqueenraven.bsky.social came all the way up from San Jose to San Francisco (an all-day trip without a car) just to have dinner with me on my hour break. I'm so grateful to have friends who will go so far out of their way to make time for me. Especially when I am having a hard time. 🥰

Day 11 and I was able to get myself out of the house for some actual walking around time and I did well! As long as I am taking it easy. I also learned my Dr wants me to be on this diet for two months! Of all the things I've quit, that's the one I'm not sure I'm going to be able to stick to... >.<

Day 10. I showered, changed my bandages and finally saw my belly; no more ugly bulbous protrusion! I feel like a new person. So many changes in my life rn and I'm really excited and grateful for everyone's love and support. 🥰

Day 9 and I'm already feeling better and more mobile. Started off the day well by finally getting treatment for my ADHD. Developed a good plan with the psychiatrist and feeling very optimistic!

Today is day 8 of sobriety and things are still pretty ok. Recovery is gonna be a long road now that I have to limit what I do for the next 4 weeks. To add to my frustration I discovered quitting nicotine causes you to gain weight! 10lb heavier and can't do anything about it...😡

Day 3 and the worst of it is still not having the nicotine that I have relied on for the last 10 or so years to calm my anxiety. I'm managing ok I think but it's very distracting when I'm already putting everything I have into staying focused on a task...

Day 3 was tough having to work a full 8hr day but I persevered! Grabbed a bunch of sushi on the way home where I slept for 12 hours. Two weeks of travel, events and cons caught up with me all at once. Feeling refreshed now though and ready to continue 💪😁
