Of course we'll rejoin the European Union, and for the same reason we joined it before - it makes no economic sense to be outside it. Eventually we'll get an election where the parties are competing to get us back in, with just as much noise as they once competed to get us out.

And one day my great grandchildren will ask mem what was it like before the internet. Oh, it was wild - I'll tell them - We all had to meet up in secret warehouses at midnight to exchange sarcastic remarks about the day's news.

Plus, a lot of inheritance is inter-pensioner money that never sees the light of a hard working pocket. Say you have kids when you're 25 and die when you're 85. And then they die when their kids are pensioners, and so on, and that money will never touch the "working" economy again.

Inheritance tax is the best of all tax because it's only paid by dead people. If only every tax was like that.

I saw the Bayeux Tapestry, and I noticed William of Normandy setting off in France, and then later on being crowned in Westminster Abbey, and it's the same person, so he must have run all the way round the back to be tapestried again at the other end. Because that's how tapestries work.

And all this is because David Cameron held a referendum to make Fartage go away.

I'm so enjoying watching Fartage fuck up Labour and the Tories in exactly the way we all said he would if they went ahead with Brexit.

It reminds me of Douglas Adams, though. The other parties said they weren't going to stand for that sort of thing, partly because it was a debasement of politics, but mostly because they weren't invited to those sort of donations.

Here's a problem I found a very peculiar way of solving ( this is the most boring thing you will ever read.) It's part of a crossword. To entertain myself like I used to in solitary I've been doing a crossword. I filled it all in before I started, obviously, and then i make up one clue a day

I still put the moment of Tory extinction at sacking Dominic Grieve. getting rid of one of the most capable and conscientious ministers they had, and replacing him with the kooks and cranks they've got now. They deserve to go extinct with imbecile stupidity like that

You can see why parties stay in opposition so long. They can't regenerate between elections, so they're left fighting the next election with the rump of the last defeat
