Friends! I’m so excited to finally share this piece with you! (had to wait for the commissioner to surprise their partner.) The learning curve was steep! I’ve never made a brooch before! I am THRILLED with the way this ring turned out! It represents a huge learning curve and about 16 hours of labour. It’s the most technically challenging piece I’ve made yet and I’m so proud. Murmuration Ring. It will be for sale in my forthcoming collection in a few month’s time. #handmadejewelry

Yes, well. There’ll be no living with me now. 🤣 The solder gods were with me today. Piece needs more work but I didn’t melt any birbs and I’m so pleased with the result! I’ll patina the interior so the birds stand out! Pendant or statement ring? What do you think? I can’t decide. #handmadejewelry

I’m honestly so surprised I managed to pull this off! Look how tiny! And I managed to texture them semi-realistically! Fingertip for size reference. If i manage to solder these on their base today without melting them, I will become an insufferable human being. 🤣 #handmadejewelery
