More fiddling with my #watercolor experiments. Added where the colours sit on the gamut solid, and what they are. Ran it through a shader to make it look more like watercolour itself, and put it on a white background. All to avoid working on the app’s marketing.

A little bit obsessed with these visualisations of reachable colour in #watercolor sets.

I wanted to visualise the colours that commonly available #watercolour palettes are able to reach (part of a feature I'm working on for my app Undertint). For fun, I've made a tool to compare them side-by-side. I think they're rather lovely in their own right. justin.stach.uk/palette-spac...
The image shows a 3d solid representing the colours that the Holbein 24 colour Artist's Watercolours Set can reach. It is irregular and rainbow-coloured.

Here’s what that looks like at both the low and high end for English and Welsh constituencies from the last election. There are no Tory constituencies where more than half of the voters have a HE qualification. From docs.google.com/spreadsheets...

This is such a joy of a book for Beatles fans. Obsessively deep analysis of their work. It occupies a similar place in my heart as @andrewhickey.500songs.com’s work.

Six very irregular sake cups, or egg cups if that’s what takes your fancy. These were me trying to throw very small things consistently. They are small at least.

Accidentally poured some very hot water over my starter earlier in the week and was worried that I’d killed it. Apparently not. Tough little fucker.

I wasn’t expecting to be making blackberry jam in the middle of July, but the bushes were stuffed with very ripe berries so who am I to argue.

What's the @figma.com community like on here? I've been scratching an itch about wanting more precision on gradients so created a plugin for control freaks like me. It's definitely not for everyone, but if this is your sort of thing it's free and I'd love feedback. www.figma.com/community/pl...

How do brands still get this naming so badly wrong? If you're explaining how to pronounce the new name, this is going to be a painpoint for your sales/marketing team in audio ads, and a painpoint for your support teams when they're guiding people to online material.
Screenshot from a pet insurance brand Petsure introducing their change of name, the screenshot highlights the following text 'We're excited to announce that we're changing our name from Petsure to Petgevity. Pronounced [pet-jeh-uuh-tee]'.
