I tried this lip tint today. It goes on black, you peel it off and your lips are delicious pink. Except I've got dry skin and the black has stuck to the skin. And I look like I am decaying. Which yah nah, is true but urgh.

Just been to a performance of Frankenstein at Newcastle's Castle keep. It was amazing, atmospheric, intense, very intimate with the seating around the room and the actors right in front of you. Very clever staging, costumes, and writing. Beautifully done.

Listening to Jon Culshaw narrate Pratchetts Jingo. I've read it a fair few times, but it's so different to listen to with Culshaws' take on the voices. I love his Vimes. It's giving me vague Tim Roth vibes. But that could be because of my raging Roth crush.

A bumper Halloween issue of Monster Fun is out today with a 2 page Gums story written by me and art by the incredible Brett Parsons @blitzcadet . The best compliment in the world was that my 6 year old laughed out loud at this story and made me read it again immediately. Can a better review exist?

On the drawing board today, a fun little one pager by @staceywhittle.bsky.social (wallpaper too much?)

A panel fvrom the kids comic gums. Gums, a shark with no teeth, is on the phone about to enter his room. (You can tell it's his room cus the sign on it says "Gum's Room" "Stay out!" "Sharks Only!" "No Fish" and "No Celephods" the wallpaper on the wall are large gold fish arranged in a simple pattern.
