They are. You take baby potatoes and boil them. Then you put them on an oiled baking sheet and take a ladle/glass/cup/ big spoon and smash each one. Brush with oil, salt and pepper. Sprinkle cheese (optional). Bake on 420° for 10 minutes and you get:
